If you have a restricted account, you can utilize the attack style plugin. It displays a warning on your screen whenever you're using a combat style you don't intend to train. Saved me a lot on all of my pures and even my zerk! Thanks for the weekly episodes and happy scaping everyone. Bring negative xp lamps already! :P

May I ask how? If anything, mid game slayer got buffed with the weaknesses if you get fire giant tasks you can get well over 100k magic xp/h with mid level spells not even high level ones and xp rates got raised across the board for slayer monsters with weaknesses and the occult may have got nerfed but it all gets made up with your armor and augury and even off hands like the Mages book got strength bonuses if anything you can get even more strength bonus than what the occult lost in the nerf....

Just use wizard robes pleb..nah in fairness it would be nice for them to add something for pures/low def or lower the reqs on some lower end gear, they cater for irons so I can't see why they don't do something small but worthwhile for the low def accounts
@@Stonecrow99 they added mage % bonus to elder robes, but why would a 20 def account use 1 def gear? Why is infinity robes 25 defence in the first place lol. The game has so many old content needing rebalanced and they just dont do it.
Hyped for these changes, this gives me hope I don't have to wait for a Trident to get 1 KC on Zulrah for Elite Void on my Ironman. 87 Slayer is such a long ass grind.
I got the 1 Zulrah KC on my ironman with crystal bow (Not bowfa), kharils top, guthix chaps, god dhide boots, rings of recoil, guthans helm for at least some tank. 84 range. No mage switch. Was able to really focus on the phases and placement, and get the kill. You got this!
Still very inaccurate, not worth 400m when you can buy claws, voidwaker, fang, all the godswords, and maybe an elder maul for the price of soulreaper. I sold mine at 410 and now its 360 the next day. Goodluck gentlemen
As much as i love OSRS, all these combat changes are showing signs of developers pushing towards EOC. They are going to keep these combat updates coming up to the point it's on par with RS3, just without the ability bar. Take it from someone who plays and follows both games (me).
Hey! That’s an awful and uninformed take based in doom mindset. They’ve said litteraly 100s of times EOC is not coming to osrs. They are not dumb as bricks. They know why osrs is popular. The reality is, the average player could continue to play the game as before this update and wouldn’t even know anything changed. They just made combat make a bit more sense with options of variety.

I'm making the comparison that things like elemental weaknesses already exist in RS3. Weaknesses to specific range weapons already exist in RS3. Stuff like that. There have been other updates in the recent past that show the same signs. I'm not blaming them for taking the good things about RS3 and implementing them in OSRS. I'm just pointing out the patterns that exist, which, even in their promise of never bringing EOC to OSRS, is going to get quite close. It begs the question of what's going to happen next? Will protection payers be docked down to 50% effectiveness across the whole game (like it already is in RS3)? Either way, I'm simply pointing out a pattern. Never really said anything negative, nothing negative was meant to be implied.

The current iteration of RS3 is so different from when EOC came out that it's not even comparable. I think the core argument of your statement lacks the understanding of just how different "EoC" was on release and "RS3" is in it's current form. It's not even close. I've always said that OSRS should adapt a lot of great game design choices from RS3 and vise versa! While I get your point, it's not nearly as gloomy as you make it sound. I'd argue the more they do these changes the more we get to the state of OSRS we've always wanted as if EoC never released. @@LightOfEon
