Nice track! I’ve seen Rory Gallagher two times live. The first time was on a friday evening in august 1980, here in the Netherlands at the so called Sneekweek festival. It was a good concert but I can’t remember much about it. The next day at about 10 AM, I was discussing the concert in the music store where I always bought my records. All of a sudden someone whispered ‘there he is’. I looked and was sort of shocked, indeed Rory Gallagher walked in! He looked at some records and left after a minute. I should’ve said something but was too shy. Some years later he preformed in my city, Leeuwarden, and I didn't like very much, he didn't play much of his usual repertoire. So when he came back a few years later I didn't went. I'm a bit sorry about that since it turned out to be his last full concert ever, I could've been there. A few days later he collapsed at a performance that turned out to be his real last.

Don’t be frightened if someone calls the 2 an octave above a certain point a 9th. It’s just a 2, but an octave up! In this case, the minor 9 has a very haunting sound.
