TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences -- the TED Conference in Long Beach and Palm Springs each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK each summer -- TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Project and Open TV Project, the inspiring TEDx program and the annual TED Prize.
Ma'am I was read about you when I was read in class 9. Now I am seeing you and now I very happy...
Every time Evelyne talks I feel like a student in school learning the most basic things about how to listen.
I heard Evelyn Glennie play with the Houston Symphony many years ago, and I remember it as if it were today. She is stunning in everything that she does! I had goosebumps throughout the whole performance. And now, with this video, I am privileged to hear her amazing insights and witness her innate modesty -- the sign of a true genius. I agree totally with everything you have written about so beautifully, Viktor van Nierkerk! What a wonderful human being she is and how fortunate we are to be able to experience this video!
I've seen her multiple times through the years and she always amazes.
I jist learned who you are today and i must say you have a new fan.
Fantastic,
Absolutely fantastic!
You maam, have STYLE!

They say you shouldnt meet you're heroes. But I met Evelyn Glennie and she is amazing and very kind. Love her.
