Dan, maybe we can trade back in the first round for more picks and draft Jaxson or Will so we have the fifth year option as they continue to learn under Geno. Just a thought. Go Hawks!
I think Seattle can trade down in round 1 and still get Tyler Booker around pick #25. They get the best guard in the draft and then likely get an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick. Round 2, Seattle could get an edge rusher like Josaiah Stewart of Michigan and then get another offensive lineman with the added picked via trade. I think with the already existing 3rd round pick, Seattle could get Jalen Royals or Tez Johnson to replace Lockett. Then Seahawks can get a quarterback prospect like Will Howard or Jaxson Dart round 4 or 5. Seattle also likely needs another tight end if Noah Fant is released. Mason Taylor or Gadsden should be available in round 4 or 5. I think Seattle then adds best player available in rounds 6 and 7. More offensive line, defensive line, and defensive back.
I like both. I prefer the second only because I like deone walker better than Norman-lott. Like you this is probably my favorite time of year. Love the games but the team building aspect is what I live for. The draft is certainly going to depend on what we do in free agency.
Solid 1st mock. I havent jumped in yet. I like to take time studying guys through January and start the mocks in February. I know a decent amount but studying guys makes me dig deeper and get a better idea on guys.
For where we sit today both your simulations look just fine, but as you said, by the draft there are going to be changes. From my point of view, the only position group that could get bye is running back. After that we have only a couple holes at starter/near starter, but a bunch of need for quality back ups. So called cap casualties will shift those needs as well. Hopefully JS and MM have developed more mutual trust so that when Mike says he wants to prioritize whatever he feels needs that JS will listen and that his scouts have the skill to correctly identify viable prospects. We have so much to look forward to. I do like that Mike seems to be very decisive. We saw it with the inside linebacker changes mid season, and in how he tweaked roles for the rest. Defense is his strength so not surprise there. Hopefully they choose wisely for OC this time and that it happens early enough that a useful action plan for FA and draft can be formulated for offense. I'm looking forward to an exciting off season, hopefully it won't disappoint.
I don't think running back is off limits. I think they could possibly trade Walker. I hope not but I really think it's a possibility. With guys like Cam Skataboo and other good running backs. It's a deep RB draft. So it depends on how they feel. As much as Walker has that big play ability he does things to the detriment too.
Between these two, definitely #2 love both TEs; Warren Especially though. To me it also fills a need. I get QB, but to me round 2 is a little for Howard or Dart. As of right now atleast. Fun episode though. Keep up the great work.
I absolutely want Tyler Warren. I was hoping we would get a big, mean, run blocking pass catching TE last year. Barner is better than I thought, but just imagine a Kittle, Gronk type TE on our roster. They would bring the attitude and nastiness we need for contested catches and provide some of run blocking. I liked Bowers last year, but he’s not much of a blocker. I remember when the sidelines used to explode when Marshawn would just bowl over a defender and break for a big gain. We don’t have that on our offense right now. I think Kittle went in the 4th rd but Warren’s not lasting til then. I’m 💯 for taking Warren in the first round. Esp if we need to replace DK.. Almost forgot… I like draft #2
Kittle 5th round out of Iowa. Seattle wanted to draft him but LA took a few picks before. Just imagine if we got him. Warren is the same player, is grab him at 1... hopefully Schneider picks up 2 free agent interior lineman. As we've seen with Haynes u can't count on rookies at position of dire need
@@markoostra8649 Right!? I knew Kittle was a 4th or 5th rd pick. The fate of the Hawks would have been much different had we been able to get Kittle years ago. I’m all for not missing out this time around.
I want Warren so bad if he makes it to 12 I start thinking about going up to get him.

I saw both Will Howard and Jaxon Dart based on their highlights and I like them both, maybe we can draft both QBs a la what Washington did in 2012, drafting both RG3 and Cousins. Look at who were on that 2012 Washington coaching staff: Mike and Kyle Shannahan, Sean McVay, Matt LeFeur, Mike McDaniel, and Bobby Slowick. If they can take 2 QBs in the same draft, Seattle can do the same in the 2025 draft.
Agree, we have to see what Schneider does with free agency. My opinion is picking best available is the luxury you earned by putting together a complete and competitive roster in free agency.
I like it because it's my brother's name. Lol. I think it makes me like him more than what I've seen of him though. I feel like that anyway. It's hard for me to say yeah that's what it is or if I really do like him that much. Lol
I think the line is closer than people think. For one year two and year three are generally the year we truly see what young o lineman are capable of. Haynes will work on strength and be in the competition next year (at guard). Olu played pretty decent considering he was an afterthought with the signing of Connor Williams. Olu was the nations hest interior lineman his last year at Michigan. Abe is back strong. Laken will gone and we will need a left guard. Cross is solid. We really arent that far off. Sign a veteran left guard, draft a young left guard for the future, and bring in a center either way to oush Olu. Olu will win it. Fant if they dont cut him is still behind Lucas and Cross. Laumea is a solid back up but i believe he is at his full potential.
But didn't Bradford his senior year have 0 sacks. Just wondering. But I been trying to be creative with the line so if conerly, booker gets drafted I'm good. I think if seattle take dart, Howard, ewers or milroe and let them develop behind geno I will be ok if they draft them. Plus I think Macdonald will want to copy Baltimore raven model with drafting line of scrimmage guys with first three picks and qb. I still want depth at oline, rb, wr, dline, LB, TE and corner or safety. But I like your mocks.
Stay at 18, Best player available. This pick, as well as the third should be on an offensive Lineman. If the Hawks spend big on OL in free agency, then I am cool with your picks.
Would take Jaxson Dart before Will Harris. Possibly even at 18 as we would finally have a decent QB to sit behind Geno next year and develop. Don’t think the Seahawks fans would be up set about that. We have been waiting forever for a future starter at QB.
Drafting a quarterback in this class seems unnecessary. If there’s someone they’re particularly high on in the later rounds, that might be worth considering, but otherwise, it’s best to avoid going after a QB this offseason. The team’s focus should instead be on securing a proven, reliable player for the offensive line. They should follow the approach the Chiefs took after their Super Bowl loss to the Buccaneers, where Mahomes was constantly under pressure-they rebuilt their O-line by signing multiple free agents and drafting a top prospect. Priority needs should be offensive line, edge rusher, nose tackle, wide receiver, and cornerback.
Idk with how Howard or dart is playing could make seattle extremely smart if they draft him and he succeeds. Their play is nice i definitely enjoy their traits especially if they let them sit and watch geno
we cannot keep pushing this down the line. what if something happens to geno next year? i don’t trust sam howell with our future. i’m not saying go 1st round pick, but if dart or milroe are there day 2, take that chance.
Id take Rourke or Leornard in 3rd or 4th. This QB classis a crap shoot. I think those 2 could be dark horses if they sit on bench for 2 years watching and learning from Geno
I think Seattle needs to take some shots here in the next couple drafts. I'm not as impressed with Leonard as I am Will Howard and Jaxson Dart. I guess we'll get a good look at both Howard and Leonard in the national championship. One or both might be elevated after this game though? I just feel that Leonard really relied on his legs too much in college, but he's not fast enough for that to be a great option for him in the NFL. Howard completes a lot of short slant and out routes which are plays that extend drives in the NFL.
A lot of speculation as you have to assume correctly who all the 32 teams will pick. Best to stick with the Seahawks. Contrary to him, this is NOT a good draft for various positions. For example, lousy at QBs.
Luc was just being rested in week 17 the abdomen thing was nothing 😅 why risk a injury in a meaningless game , booker dart n lott nope on all 3 lol booker will be gone before we pick dart is a reach at 2 , a good dt good be had in the 1st or edge in the first. It is fun to mock live it man keep it up , I'm addicted 😂
You say Dart is a reach now but if you have conviction about a QB positional value goes out the window. If the Hawks believe in Dart (or anyone else) at that position and don’t believe he’ll fall to then again in the third they would absolutely “reach” to get him.
Booker dart Norman?? I would b massively embarrassed.. all 3 picks over drafted by a round.. booker is not a 1st rounder unless he plays center. If at 18 u have revel or Tyler you draft them.
Over drafted based on what exactly? Your own opinion? Before the majority of the draft process had even played out? Interesting take. It’s ALL projection at this point based on the info we have at the moment.

I love the dart pick I’d add jack bech from tcu at WR Donovan Jackson OL if we could move up and get Tyler Warren that’s a home run 4 sure
I like both. I prefer the second only because I like deone walker better than Norman-lott. Like you this is probably my favorite time of year. Love the games but the team building aspect is what I live for. The draft is certainly going to depend on what we do in free agency.
I'm a draft nerd too. Love this time of year.
I like your second one more. Both are solid.
Solid 1st mock. I havent jumped in yet. I like to take time studying guys through January and start the mocks in February. I know a decent amount but studying guys makes me dig deeper and get a better idea on guys.

John schnieder sucks at signing IOL so I don’t see us going this route, we will take Oline with one of our first couple picks
I absolutely want Tyler Warren. I was hoping we would get a big, mean, run blocking pass catching TE last year. Last year we thought we had a shot at Penix and Nix. The need for a qb from teams made that a nonfactor. Lol
Agree, we have to see what Schneider does with free agency. My opinion is picking best available is the luxury you earned by putting together a complete and competitive roster in free agency.
Bro i love will howard
Hoping seahawks can grab
Tyler booker
Kenneth grant
Will howard

After 15 years of neglecting the interior of the offensive line, why would you expect Schneider to sign a top flight guard in free agency?
He will this time as his arse and reputation is on the line. He F##### this up his legacy is 💩 and will never recover.
because he is in a hot seat and the oline is the main reason
That’s not what he said… he thinks Schneider will find cheap veterans to help these rookies develop
He’s about to get fired
@ and
First one is easily the best one
People dont realize howards full season starting is at OSU and other times he came in as the backup and lit it up
Another back up there, transferred to Syracuse and set the ACC record. That guy Kyle McCord beat Donovan McNabb 's record.
Your second draft love Warren Howard i do like but not in the second prob could get him in thec3rd but you're right alotvwill change 😅
Pick a guard in the first round at 26 or pick Penn State's star tight end at 18, if available.
I like draft 2 the best, especially if we move on from Noah. Barner is looking good though so I wouldn’t mind a trade down and looking to take OL
I think the line is closer than people think. For one year two and year three are generally the year we truly see what young o lineman are capable of. I like the Warren pick, but I would rather have Dart over Howard. I don't know enough about Deone.
I’m sorry but if James Pearce is there I’d love him on this team
I like both drafts
Ty Warren is the correct answer
But didn't Bradford his senior year have 0 sacks. Just wondering. But I been trying to be creative with the line so if conerly, booker gets drafted I'm good. They should go out and get Trey Smith. Get that difference maker on the line then take best player available

Jaxon dart or bust
Firmly Stay at 18, Best player available
what if we trade down? i say we trade down get more picks n see what’s there i say w take booker or jalen n still get more picks for day 2 or 3
Both are bad. But typical Seahawks tho. "Hey, OL sucks, so let's draft every other position instead!" "Sounds great jon..."

Hey hawks fans Stop wasting your time on this guys terrible draft content and go watch NFL STOCK EXCHANGE
