This is what I call a true rock & roll moment - one of those moments where rock lightening strikes and magic is created. What's really cool is to see the Kami Band clearly over the moon playing behind an artist they must have idolized as young budding musicians. Watching Boh's head bobbing madly is just too much fun 🙂
I'd also say that it's obvious from this and other performances by Su that she really does enjoy going "free range" onstage, without choreography to constrain her. I'd really love to see more of that.

It was Babymetal that turned me into a huge fan of Judas Priest. Which is crazy as i was listening to metal as far back as the late 80's but just never caught on to Priest for some inexplicable reason.
It was this performance that made me wonder what all the fuss was about, and i found out. The fuss was that they are absolute legends and Rob Halford is a metal god.
I don't even regret missing out, as i got to binge their entire back catalogue in one go as if it were all new.
Thank you Babymetal for making me realize i haven't heard everything yet, both new and old.

Awesome! Such a wonderful and wholesome moment. Rob is the man, and Babymetal finally gets to go off script a bit and have some fun lol.
I would love to see them revisit this now that the gals are older, and way more comfortable going off script on stage!

Welcome back to BabyMetal's journey, it's been a while 🦊🤘🔥
This was an epic clash of Metal God and the Fox God 🦊🤘🔥
There's an interview you can find after this with both of them, really fun.
Rob Halford said he was so excited about this that even bought a cloth to match up with the colors of the girls. lol
And he's waiting for another chance to collaborate together on a new song, but the girls are also looking for a collab along with Slipknot which they recently share the same stage at Sick New World in Las Vegas last weekend, but like always Only The Fox God Knows.
Is all about fun and having a good time with a metal legend and the future of the metal sound.
Our girls we'll never forget Rob's kind words and support when saying: _"Stay metal."_ 🤘
One of the girls, MoaMetal can actually play the guitar and she took some lessons way before this, the other girl YuiMetal (it pronounce "u - e") is just mimicking. In an interview MoaMetal got this question and she pretty much said she did played the guitar.
    Next suggestion:
    - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV.
Thanks for sharing this iconic fun moment on BM career. 🦊🤘🔥

Crappy camera work (who points AWAY from the guy doing a guitar solo?!), bad sound work, dead crowd....BUT.... It says a lot about the energy, the absolute fun the girls, Rob and the Kamiband were having, to make this performance still be this good. You should check out a performance where Su sang Painkiller and Breaking the Law with Chad from Red Hot Chili Pepper on the drums, mostly fancam vids, but it's totally worth it, especially at the very end. 🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction. Shame about the camerawork and the crowd, but it was an awards show ... a special occasion nonetheless. 🦊🤘
They did an interview together afterwards and Rob Halford was class having nothing but praise for BABYMETAL and the Kami Band. He said they were originally only going to do 'Breaking The Law', but he was enjoying rehearsing with them so much he said "Let's do 'Painkiller' as well" and they were so professional they made it happen.
He also described the girls as "Heavy Metal Monster Ladies" (that made them giggle) and as "the future of Metal".
He also told them to "Stay Metal" - a message they took to heart.
Yui and Moa had custom three quarter size ESP guitars for this. Whether they were playing is still debated. Moa was the more likely (she could already play a bit, Yui was a beginner) and they had said they were nervous about playing live. Its not like the main riff is too hard and they had a couple of the very best teachers to help them prepare, so who knows (only the Fox God I suspect🦊).
Rob Halford is on record since this as saying he would love to collaborate again with BABYMETAL, but ideally on a new song ... in Japanese.
