- Here's how to track calories with MacroFactor and a food scale.
This is the simplest way to track calories, and it's using my favourite app (macrofactor)!

I just found your content a couple of weeks ago and I love your simplicity in your videos. Especially your videos on making quick meals (and it doesn’t have to look pretty). Keep up the great work!
That's awesome to hear. Thanks for being here, Stephanie!!
Great video... cooked v raw! Very important and one which I have never used before.
Glad it was helpful! That can be a huge slip up for a lot of people, so I wanted to include it :)
Awesome info💪🏼
You're the man, Fabiano - keep up the good work
Super helpful video!! Quick MacroFactor question for you: how often should I be tracking my weight in the app? Is once a week okay, or do I have to track everyday? 😅
GOOOD Question.
I would shoot for AT LEAST two weigh ins per week on non-consecutive days. That leads to better data, which helps MF make better decisions!
The scale demo is so helpful 🤯. It may be intuitive for someone more experienced, but I was really struggling with how to use the food scale. I subscribed using your code. Can you make a video about how to analyze timing of food, and the importance of timing for your deals. the one thing I like about MacroFactor is that it tracks your meal time like a diary. I have a feeling that trend provides critical info, just don’t know what to do with it. Thank you. 🙏
So glad it was helpful!
Sure, I can make a video about meal timing :)
I just purchased Macrofactor. I am very disappointed that it does not provide or track the Glycemic Index OR Glycemic Load for each food item. Am I missing something? Which calorie tracking App will provide that info for each food item, in addition to the macros? Thanks!
I'm not sure which app would track that.
Is there any reason why that is important for you to track?
Yes. I am in my early 50's and have some form of Insulin Resistance (I do NOT Type 2 diabetes & my a1c level is 5.2 now, it was 7), from my many years of sugar & soda addiction. Bottom line is my body is sensitive to all forms of sugar, so I want to know the Glycemic Index OR Glycemic Load for each food item, as well as the macros before I decide to eat it or not. Macros don't tell the whole story. Make sense?@@MatteoMarra3
Can we use his app for triahlon??? Also includes wheight lifting 2 times a week :)
100% you can
I train 3 x swimming, 2 weight lifting, two runs, two workouts on zwift and one cycling outside. If we can use this app for this type of training this is absolutely fantastic ☺️☺️
@@tahamaradias9470 this app, used correctly, will make every single one of those sessions more impactful for you as an athlete.
Hope I can do it correctly. Can you do a video to show how? ☺️☺️.
Forgot to say that some days include training two times a day
