Julie is always so poised and elegant... Great acceptance speech on behalf of Robert Wise...yes I still feel she should have won
Ok, Look.. Julie SHOULD HAVE WON an Oscar for " The Sound of Music"..I think she was BETTER in THAT than Poppins...just Me!!! xoxoxoxoxoxo
She should have won Best Actor! 🏆
Wonderful trip down memory lane!❤
Very brief and dignified acceptance speeches!
Julie Andrews is one of the most beloved by her many fans! Her talent is Herculean! Thank you Ms Andrews for giving us so much pleasure. May the universe return the favor!
Julie Andrews should have won the Oscar for The Sound of Music movie as Best Actress. Julie Christie is a nobody. I've never even seen anything she's done. And Richard Burton should have won the Oscar for Best Actor that year. He was a great actor.
Thats pretty cool, the podium comes up from the floor, and it has some notes that move for the reader/presenter too. I always wondered why the podium was so massive back in those days.
Julie ❤
I think that Vivien Leigh should have been nominated for Ship of Fools. She was phenomenal ❤. So was Julie Andrews in another register. I have not seen the film with Julie Christie so I cannot comment on her performance.
I love Patty Dukes dress.
Bob Hope hosting again!
Magic Julie* utube John bavas crazy
She's the Best
What are Julie and Shirley saying to each other?
"Best Acrtress?"
Right after best acrtor. (Can’t be changed anymore.)
that is why I never watch the academy awards!!
Clearly, Julie should have won; however, the biased Academy couldn’t give the award to a Brit back then.
She won the year before that though?
She won the year before for "Mary Poppins." I guess they didn't know she was a Brit then...🙄
@@timlester1867 Hahaha
Julie Christie is also British! 🤔🙏
ummm lets's see... Vivien Leigh 1939 & 1951,, Joan Fontaine 1941, Greer Garson 1942, Olivia de Havilland 1946 & 1949, Audrey Hepburn 1953, Elizabeth Taylor 1960, Julie herself in 1964, and Julie Christie in 1965. And that's just the Best Actress category. I don't think Britishness had anything to do with Julie's loss that year.
