WOW !!! Now that’s what I call a dollar tree decorations. I do believe you used all dollar tree products, I love all you’re creations as well. Ty for sharing. 🥰❤️
Your Dollar Tree is so clean, bright and organized. Mine is so rundown, dark and depressing, plus it doesn’t have even half the selection yours does. I want a Dollar Tree plus.
Something you can do to up the look on the lanterns. Take your wax paper actually take 2 pieces and add some grated or finely chopped crayons and iron the wax paper with crayons between the 2 pieces and it will give it a stain glass appearance. Then add to your frames and cut just as before. It will be very pretty
A little helpful hint I learned many years ago: if you plan to use spray paint on Styrofoam make sure you cover it with paper towel or newspaper glued on or the spray paint will melt Styrofoam.
@@margarethargis1734 at work we had a jar of super glue fall off the table into a rag box. It started smoking! It didnt ignite but we hustled it out to the dumpster really fast! Lol

Love the canvas placemat idea! I’m thinking about making personalized placemats for Thanksgiving, then our dinner guests can take them home as a memento. Also, if you want a more durable lantern, you can use the plastic chopping mats instead of waxed paper. I really enjoy your creativity.
The wax paper would get broken immediately at my place. I just picked up the cutting mats the other day, because I figured I’d think of something and I actually like to use them for chopping. That is a fantastic idea! I was going to use the acrylic sheets from Cricut.
I love these ideas I’ve tried so many in my apartment thank you so much! Here’s some tips as well: 1:18 you can also make a slit in a bendy straw and melt it onto the paper towel holders with a lighter for a more stronger hold and quicker binding. 3:33 you can also use contact paper to wrap around and then seal it with modpodge also found at dollar tree. 5:55 you can also make your own acrylic paint with the paint at dollar tree by mixing 1/3 cup of white glue with 1/3 cup water so it’s less pricey
Wow that squeegee hack is awesome. Wish I would’ve seen this before we bought ours. Our back patio gets water in it when it rains. When it rains in Florida….it RAINS. Thanks for sharing these great hacks. I’m ALL about “hack life”.😁 Have a great day.🤗
Very creative! Last time I was in Dollar Tree I didn't find some of the items you used. Their products change over time and in different locations. Great ideas to adapt. I'm thinking of making Christmas luminaries with craft sticks instead of canvas frames and colored Saran Wrap. A coat of paint or poly on the craft sticks will weather proof them. We mostly have rain in the PNW instead of snow.
Good afternoon beautiful Shannon and family! Happy Father’s Day to your guys in your life! The wax paper is freaking genius never thought of it that’s why I love watching your videos and hacks. Love all the other hacks. Thank you for sharing another amazing hack decor video. Have a blessed weekend.

I really loved the placemat and planter urn. For the terracotta candles, you don't need superglue, just dip the metal wick holder into the melted wax and that will affix it to the pot. This way, once the candle is melted down, you can replace the wick holder if needed.
With the kitchen roll to toilet roll holder , I think just having 2 next to each other would look just as good , I love your channel just an innocent comment ❤plus if you have been using onions to get rid of the smell off your hands rub them on your stainless steel sink before you wash them , all the onion odour will have vanished, your welcome ❤
The white bowl you made looks like a giant bottle cap from a glass bottle. If someone painted it like a bottle cap I think it could make a cool piece of decor or fit the theme of a bar/movie room. Just an idea. 👍
i think you could heat it in the oven like we used to do with records and it will naturally wave up. for 1.25 its worth a try, look up vintage bowl made from old record shaped bowl
MAKING THE PEBBLES STICK: Sharing a few tips for those people who have had problems making the pebbles stick to the solar lights. 1. Shannon used BOTH crazy glue n hot glue. Hot glue provides quick adhesion; crazy glue provides more lasting adhesion. Someone commented on their pebbles falling off, but that was because she used only hot glue. 2. IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERLAY the 2 types of glues. This will combine the chemicals and may result in poor overall adhesion, depending on what you're gluing together. Simply dot the 2 different glues in 2-3 different spots on the glass pebbles. 3. For something small like glass pebbles, you really need a glue gun with a PRECISION TIP.

The over the door coat rack gave me an idea 💜. Taking those hooks off, will allow you to zip tie soda bottles to the base and hang the rack on a railing for a balcony garden 💜 love it💜

If you use a pair of wire cutters on the paper towel holders , you can twist the wire cutters and score the wire first , then it's easy to snap it off.
Hi, you gave me a great idea with the window frame you made. I have wire racks in my office so I'm thinking I can maybe get a bigger frame and put it on the rack like doors so you can't see what's on my shelves. I would need bigger frames but I could zip tie them on maybe. And if not then I' sure you will me some new ideas to use them...lol Thanks again.
Brilliant ideas and so creative. One of the things I avoid buying at dollar tree is the smaller canvases, they got different sizes for the same price, the bigger sizes are ok but buying the smaller sizes for a dollar (which is now a $1.25) is a ripoff, but we would pay more if we buy at other crafts store though. I just thought they should at least double the small sizes, because we shop at dollar tree because we want to spend less but I guess that’s how they make their profit by keeping the same price for every sizes of an item 🥴😊.
Wow I loved them all, TFS great ideas !! I've seen some of your other videos and have enjoyed and have been inspired from them, so today I had to sub. 🥰✨👍
For the hook DIY I would suggest that you bend the ends that are sealed into hooks rather than the part you broke off. That would make it look much cleaner and more finished. Other than that, great idea!
My grandma's house is 100 years old and with that comes spiders where they live. For years my grandma has been using the tallness of her three grandchildren (me being the shortest of the 3 lol I have tall brothers) and She uses a broom with a towel on it for us to get the dust and spider webs out of the high corners at her house. Although we can reach the tops without the broom handle the broom makes it easier on my back. I do the dusting when I go visit from out of state because it's something I've been doing for over 20 years, and I find it to be fun. My grandma also turns it into a treasure/easter egg (without actual easter eggs) hunt and makes it fun to dust!
@@TheDailyDIYer She loves that I volunteer for a "honey do list" because she knows my rule about having electronics out when I'm at her house. Basically, I find it rude when trying to visit someone to be on electronics, so I don't even answer phone calls (unless it's like the doctor or something) while I'm visiting my grandparents. It makes it a more enjoyable time with my grandparents too. People know not to call me because I post on FB that I am at my grandparents'. When you enjoy the little things, you become even more grateful for them. Such fun and sensible diy's.
For the rope coasters, some fabric glue or fray check on the raw ends would probably help keep them nicer longer
Great idea! Also, adding a li'l glue to the cotton rope while winding it around itself will make it stronger and less likely to unravel.
