Echo makes some pretty good stuff. My climbing saw and powerpruner are made by them. I don't even still use a hand blower so I think this is a cute hairdryer, but fine for blowing clippings off walkways after mowing. Good intro model, and for the price? PERFECT! But I wouldn't be using the vac too much, you'll kill it. When you get serious, I suggest C-4 (4stroke) Shindaiwa small power equipment. string trimmer / backpack blower / power shear. They are what have migrated into my fleet. They sip fuel, powerful, quiet and VERY reliable, but pricy.
I skipped on this one because I didn't want anything else beside a blower. And all the extras does is adding more weight and more shits that you're going to never use and will get lost. It's looks bulky with all the handles to handing different positions. I went with a home lite gas blower instead. It doesn't have a trigger switch or cruise control, but it blow air.
I actually returned it and bought a regular blower. The leaf vacuum doesn't work well with wet leaves. Lol and I rather now up the leaves and shred them and then rake em up. This was always getting clogged. Lol
Definitely will say echo does last at least in my experience i have had the back pack blower model pb-500t it is a discontinued back pack blower but it is 2012 model i have had it i want to say since 2013 bought new and used ever fall usually multiple times on the yard and most years even helping w family members yards and 2022 all it has costed was gas and i changed the spark plug just because i wanted to basically was running just fine before i changed it and the original air filter surprisingly is not that bad i will probably buy a new one next time i go to home depot though lol
Won’t touch echo again had a blower and a shredder vac the blower didn’t last 12mths and had nothing but trouble with shredder vac Also have had trouble with stihl, shindaiwa has never let me down in 30 yrs string trimmer blower multi tool unit with hedger pole saw just brilliant
I got some dirty old Oak trees that drop baby little twigs and marble sized acorns besides leaves . My question is , have you ever sucked up twigs and hard organic things that got stuck and stopped the machine? or did it go right through the other end ?
This blower has been a liability to my business. Stopped working 6 weeks after I bought it. Took it back to HD, the mechanic there turned up the idler screw slightly and it seemed to work great again. after the third 5 to 10 minute use, it has stopped working again, only this time there is no spark. Same thing is happening to my sister's echo wacker with less than 1 hour on it. I never had this much trouble with old used machines that I got for $10 off of Craigslist.
I agree! It was ridiculously terrible. I used it once after this video and returned it. I ended up getting a stihl blower and just raked up any leaves I had.
can somebody please help me, I am looking for a new leaf blower that has the shredder vac with it. the ones that I am looking at are the Husqvarna 125bvx , the echo es-250, or the stihl sh-56 c-e
Zachary Coslic Making the same decision myself though I have not looked at he Stihl yet. I am favoring the Echo over the Husky at this point due mainly to many saying the pipe system for the vac and blower are Rinky dink and difficult to attach. Apparently you need a screw driver to open the grate to attach the vac on the Husky where the Echo has a knob to make it easy. Also the Echo tubes have a locking system to connect them together where the Husky has slip fits and the you put a screw through both to hold them together. That makes for a sharp cut yourself thing on the inside of the pipe if you need to clear out a clog. I have also read that attaching the pipe for the vac on the Husky can be quite difficult. Positives for the Husky is that it has high and low adjustment needles for the carb where I can't seem to see them on the Echo. My Echo weed whacker didn't have any either so when I had troubles with the carb I had to replace it with a Chinese carb which came with a high end adjustment needle otherwise it just wouldn't run. Of course I had it 16 years before I had an issue. That's as far as I have gotten. I need to go look at the Stihl now.
Jeff Leach hi sorry i didnt reply i bought the echo over the husky and the stihl. The stihls reviews werent the greatest and neither were the husky. I love my echo blower and it has a differebt two stroke sound too and blows very good. If youre still interested i would buy the echo you wont be disappointed
+Guy Mooglie Hey sorry for the late reply, hopefully you didn't buy it only for the leaf mulching part. lol. Its a great blower, but I found it very annoying how it sucked up the grass and mulched it. I would rather mow up the dried leaves then use this again. lol
I have had mine going on 10 years with no problems. Only thing I ever had to do was replace the dust bag and that was just this year!!

hahaha
Lmao
Right out of the box with gas in it
First thing I seen as well😂😂😂
+mike doyon I put gas in it before I showed it. Hence I didn't put "unboxing" lol
+Sa'Mowin Lawn Care I know bro...but I was just replying to his comment that I noticed that as well
Mine lasted a couple of weeks. I've owned or used lot's of different ECHO equipment. This is by far my worst ECHO investment.
