Mall by Eugent Bushpepa in 2018 is my favourite song from Albania. His voice goes insanely high if you listen to the full song. A poll was even done by people on the website Wiwibloggs and his song was voted as the best live performance of Eurovision 2018.
Although I am not Albanian, based on my experiences, I have found Albanians to be friendly, intelligent, respectful, and hardworking. I hold great respect for both the Albanian people and their beautiful country. Albanians have proven successful immigrants in the United States, occupying esteemed positions such as business owners, Harvard professors, principals, doctors, CEOs, school superintendents, and even politicians of significant influence. May Albania be blessed by God. P.S If Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, and Ava Max can sing, Besa can sing too.
Maybe adding some information about the selection process: Albania had their national song contest since the sixties called Festivali i Këngës. Since 2004 the winner of this festival goes to eurovision. To select their song and artist for eurovision 2024 they announced the participants for Festivali i Këngës (edition 62) this week, 32 artists will take part, among them also Kejsi Tola who went to Eurovision in 2009 (04:27). The festival will take place 19th of december untill 22nd of december 2023. Us from all over the world we can watch this for free using streams provided by the Albanian broadcaster. Dedicated Eurovision fans want to watch as many national final shows between december 2023 and march 2024, eurovision 2024 will take place May 2024.
I think Albania is one of these countries that send a lot of songs you cant really be represented in a short snippet because theyre not the most easy to digest pop and also often in national language. But they have become my favorite country in eurovision. There are a couple of flops in between but they have really strong singers and songs that are based around strong vocals. Im not that surprised they weren't your taste, but i think they get underrated in eurovision a lot because the songs can be too much at first sight on tv but they have longevity and musical quality, get better with time. My favorites are 2018 and 2021, too bad you had to cut that one out.
I think my favorite Albanian entry is 2010, the backing singing ladies killed it. They really uplifted the song. Unpopular opinion, 2012 screaming lady is a fan favorit but I can't stand a single minute of that yelling.
The 2015 performer was sick, so the vocals weren't completely clear, but the track itself is very good and was expected to be in the top 10 that year

Albania doesnt get voted a lot by other european countries because of political and historical reasons
Hi. Nice reaction. I wait to see your reaction to Romania
Coming soon! 😀
could you react to Cyprus in Eurovision next?
Why is some of the songs missing in your videos?
Unfortunately youtube blocks certain songs because the right holders don't want them to be used so I have to trim them out.
@@bigkevreacts what a shame 😒

Ok but musically 2010 was sooo retro
@@achnix3167 nothing wrong with retro. Portúgal won the contest with a song, musically, very retro.
