This is my most favorite game. I remember when I was little, playing this game, how much fun it was. I spent countless hours playing it. It's funny. . . the moment I finished the game, my Dreamcast turned off and never worked again.

If Shenmue I and II came out remastered on the 360, it would totally sell. Though to be honest, I really enjoyed the NPC's of Shenmue I lol. They were so intriguing to me... "No no...talk to me later." It kept you coming back! Not to mention the YOU ARCADE. Man... good times....

Im a big Metal Gear Solid fan but even i know that they are not even close as wonderful and magical and fun as the Shenmue games. Metal Gear Solid is my second favorite game ever but its still not close to my big favorite Shenmue. :)
That series man... So mad Yu Suzuki won't finish it Smh .. I'll even take a book and read it just so I can know what happens. Wish more people would have invested in them on both Dreamcast and Xbox (when part 2 dropped out here). I need to know what happens b
Word Prime P. I actually had part 2 for dreamcast. I imported it back in 2003 from a game store in Europe, had to use that game genie disk to make the Dreamcast think it was a PAL dreamcast. Part 2 was so good, runnin around in China, even met the girl he was dreaming about in part 1 when I got to China... Epic man but I never finished it cause of ex wife drama. I wish they would release the whole thing now on all systems. Last week there was a Shenmue 3 /movement petition for PS4 all over Twitter and Facebook. I signed it and now just got my fingers crossed someone that knows Sazuki heard or saw it. I wanna play the whole trilogy without having to import or wait mad years for the next chapter.
Lol no! I played it for the first time 6 month ago, the graphics are incredibles ( LOL THOSE SOCKS IN RYU'S BEDROOM), and even today it's still better than most of the other games, this game is just different than the other games.
its ok for me that only shenmue 1and 2 exist-1. they cant mess it up and destroy the story 2. its kinda more epic now cause its more like a book with ur fantasies at the end
MGS is disputable, but FF6 is my favorite game of all time, so Imma have to stop ya right there bub. Shenmue is amazing and the world is easily more fleshed out and interactive, but the story falls just short of FF6 in my opinion.

Shen Mue is a true icon of role playing games. they really dont make them like they used to anymore.
The mournful sound of the Chinese fiddle is truly touching.
The erhu is so beautiful. Easily one of my all-time favorite game tracks.
And there is still no end to the story...we will all die before we get a proper shenmue, you know that?
