This is the best Savage clip ever! My second bike is an old Savage (my primary bike is a Hayabusa), and when my friends ask how I can ride something so slow, I show them this video. I just wish I could ride even half as good as shown here.
This dude just rips I'm 73 and still riding one of these great bikes [but not like this guy]. Really great video and riding! Cool to see that the bike can hang w all that.
I was lucky enough to have Savage 650 in 1993 - 1996. Together with the XT 550 and the MZ 250 ETZ the motorcycles that I enjoyed more than I ever acquired. (And I got a lot, with the last one being Hayabusa.)
I took my Virago 535 up and down a ski slope many years ago, did the same last year with my "scrambler" moped and couldn't understand how the hell I managed on the Virago. It also drifted nicely in the roundabouts when it was a little wet, so smooth and controllable. But I never got it to wheelie but the savage is a bit lighter and has a lot more torque at lower revs.
I´m so divided between "you need to throw in there the chain conversion, longer shocks and some knobbies" and "WTF rip it, the cool thing is actually that it still looks like a fucking cruiser all enduro and shit" lol
I know it’s late but he appears to have the following mods: -front fender delete -single seat -different mirrors -exhaust isn’t stock but I can’t tell By the looks of it -couldn’t tell you about the interior of the brakes (which by the way he broke for the hairpin would not suprise me if they were beefed up a little) but the drum and disk look stock -also windscreen, but those are optional anyway
@@MoshTIme but all the things you described are no things you would expect for this driving. You would expect longer shocks and dual sport tires and shit. That's why this video is so amazing, all the essentials parts seems to be original.
@@MoshTIme I have YSS shocks on my savage, not longer, but softer and dual sport tires (rear wheel is 18 inch). And the additional crash bar...but I drive slowly through the woods so we will see if I ever upload a video like this haha. But I have also a 18 inch high bar, sooooo 🤣
This is how my mom thinks I ride.
That was a sweet shredit! Had no idea I’d watch a Suzuki savage edit today 😂
Just goes to prove its not what you ride its how you ride it!
blokem3 damn straight
Can see you are a great mc rider ..! And I think this is probably the best video that shows what a Suzuki ls 650 can achieve ..!
This is the greatest thing I have seen on UA-cam in a long time!
Okay that's it. This has sold me on a Savage for my fist bike.
got mine for 150$
@@AndrewKilledYou I still haven't bought one =(
S40, out of all the bike's I've owned, is definitely one of the most fun. Nice to see someone that knows how to ride one :D That's some serious skill!

My life is now complete. That was the best thing I've ever seen. (I am somewhat biased however; I've been beatin' on a Savage since 2005)

It's better to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow.

Alejandro Maldonado no it’s not, that 650 is pretty sweet it was my first bike. It’s a single cylinder so not a lot of power But it’s enough.
Great video
