There are lots of fast food restaurants that have vegetarian dishes like Vegetarian burgers ( Burger King, Shakey's Pizza, Army Navy ) and local dishes like pinakbet, chopsuey, lumpiang ubod or lumpiang pritong gulay etc.
Pls visit and vlog BGC HIGHSTREET AND BGC UPTOWN, EASTWOOOD, MCKINLEYHILL, MALL OF ASIA, NATIONAL MUSEUM, MIND MUSEUM, MANILA OCEAN PARK MANILA ZOO, OKADA MANILA INTRAMUROS AND ETC❤❤🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Welcome! 🙏 Aww it’s a shame you didn’t make it to the most “central” part of the metro area (called BGC). it literally looks like Singapore, Tokyo and Miami in one. All the shops, bars, restaurants and main events take place there, along with the rest of the travelers and expat community. If you’re ever back here, I’d deffo recommend staying around heading there. I’m afraid department of tourism here is pretty useless at sharing the best bits of this country- everything you find online is usually discovered by travelers or shared by locals on social media so everything’s still a bit “word of mouth” here, compared with other SE Asian countries :) Enjoy the rest of your time here and throughout the region! ✨❤
Thank you for the tip. When we come back, which I’m sure we will as we loved our time in the Philippines we will add BGC to the list of places to visit 😊. We loved seeing metro Manila too, we had a great time there 😊
Ola Ola! Manila certainly was crazy, crazy awesome! we have been off on the island for the past few weeks, cannot wait to share more, Philippines is SO beautiful its unreal, we did find Tofu sisig which I have eaten a lot, theres quite a lot of vegetarian food on Palawan 😂🤘🏼 thanks so much for your suggestions! although halo-halo definitely wasn’t for us lmao.
As a Filipino bloke, just be wary and stay vigilant whenever you are out and about. And take note of the police stations’ phone number (nearest to you)
Manila looks nicer than I thought ti would! I've been to the airport and only seen it out of the window and if I'd known it had a viewpoint like that I would have went out! So glad to see you having such a brilliant time!! Loved seeing you get to hang out with the whole fam!
We don’t usually like cities but we did have a good time in Metro Manila. I think 3 days there would be a good amount of time instead of the 5 we did and then run away to the islands 😊. Unless of course you want to karaoke with my family then I recommend 5 😂
@FrenchFili that's like saying you have to visit Skid Row if you're visiting California to make it authentic. Im filipino and I never go to that area unless I absolutely have to
@@josevich That's the majority of what philippines is like. Unload some of your ego. Makati and BGC does NOT represent all of Philippines. BGC is just a portion of Taguig. Lol. Just like Norway is not just Oslo and Turkiye is not just Istanbul.
Philippines is not known for foods and amazing cuisine.but most of international cuisine are here,Mexican,Italian, indian you name it.enjoy but Philippines experiencing extreme weather condition (el nino)protect yourself with sunscreen.
haha yeah we have realised the food isn’t the greatest, but we still LOVE traditional filipino food, especially edobo, the chocolate pudding is amazing! I (Sam) have already burnt, peeled and burnt again 😂 , even with suncream on its pretty brutal here, now I am 3 shades of brown on my back, salamat po for your advice
I was hoping you have showed all the food store up in the foodcord in SM Mall of Asia, cause i wonder if the one called Yum Yum Burger ( not sure the name but know it wa Yum Yum...) if it still was there, i love that burger there. but you did not show 😞 but yeah i miss Phillippines alot🙂
Hi, i have seen vidos and i see there been changes 😔 Before the ice skate was in bottom and food cord right over lile a horse shoe. There was differents food and the yumyum burger🤗 Very nice burger jucy. But it was in think 2014 i was there. But i seen some videos now there lot of change in there the ice skate is moved up and food cord differents so that old food stores are gone🤗 Thanks for the answer 👍 Love ur videos🥰
you were in the ghetto side of Manila the whole time, so I'm surprised you didn't say more negatives. The nice side of Manila (downtown Makati and BGC) are completely different from where you were
Oh really?! 😂 it definitely didn’t feel very ghetto, it backed onto a Robinsons mall, there was the red light district down the road, but not close enough we walked near it, I thought it was quite nice ✌🏼, what would have been different about makati and BGC? We absolutely loved how green Manila was!
@@nicroams You were in old downtown Manila. It was destroyed during WW2 and never fully restored. The new "downtown" moved to Makati in the 1970s and then BGC also opened in the early 2000s. They're more walkable and clean compared to old Manila. Some of Makati is a redlight district (called Poblacion), but the Makati CBD is nice.
We actually did not know this information! so salaam po! we did visit other areas of Manila and Quezon City, all were so beautiful and GREEN! so fantastic to see that trees are still kept and not cut down for buildings. I only regret not being able to see the national museum.
Welcome to the Philippines, I hope you get to see not just the streets of Manila but more so the beautiful provinces of our country. You will surely enjoy them. Have a safe travel and thank you for visiting the Philippines!!!
Salamat Po Mabuhay! 🤘🏼 We have actually already left Manila, we were there predominantly to see family, our time there we absolutely LOVED! especially for a city it was so interesting, we flew off to enjoy the island life! :) thank you! ❤️
Welcome to the HOME!!!! Welcome to the Philippines, have a safe journey and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Manila and specially the beautiful provinces of the country.
Maraming salamat po! We feel like we’ve learnt a bit of Tagalog 😂, your country is SO beautiful, we were only in Manila primarily to see family (Nics) we leave Philippines on Sunday 😩
Haha I thought we gave the price in pounds 😂 we’re using the conversion of 69 peso to a pound, but food has been quite “expensive” for Asia, we were quite surprised.
Here is the complete breakdown of all out costs in Manila :) 💰 Costs for 2 Las Palmas Hotel de Manila: £147.20 (5 nights) Attractions: £5 (P350) Activities: £28 (P1950) Transport: £19 (P1325) Food: £85 (P5880) Food includes drinks and snacks and all costs have been rounded up or down and include any tips we left ☺️ Total: £284.20 (£56.84 per day for 2 people)
