Just finished sobbing over the last episode and came back here to reminicse over the old SU's memorable songs. Im so glad to have grown up with this show.
I just got my first real piano for Christmas... I'm excited to figure some if this stuff out! (I know bits and pieces, like the riffs of "Stronger than You" and "Giant Woman", but I need to get IMMERSED... you feel me?)

I was in a really bad mood today, getting into some deep stuff about growing up, then I listened to this, and I got happy and realized, if you like shows like this when your an adult, then in a way, your still kinda a kid! And that made really happy!!! (Why am I even worrying about growing up? Im 12!!! Gosh!!)
I'm two months away from my 18th birthday. It sneaks up on you. It's not a bad thing, it's just different. People seem to put changes into Good or Bad, but sometimes it's just different. That's what growing up has been for me. Nothing has changed so much I can't handle it. It's just like that Adventure Time song, "Everything stays but it still changes. Ever so slightly, daily and nightly. In little ways, everything stays." There is no point where you are now grown up, it happens gradually, and you'll hardly even notice unless you're looking for it.
I know it's useless worrying about getting older but if it comforts you you're not the only one. I am almost 20 but I still can't believe I am considered an adult right now. And though I try it's certainly not always easy or fun too act like one. But like the other people above said it goes gradually and there are advantages too it too like being (almost) completly free to make your own decisions . And like Walt Disney once said there is a little bit of kid inside all of us. Anyway what I'm trying to say I guess is you have still plently of time to enjoy being young and you shouldn't become too afraid of change. Sincerly a young adult (?)

I guess I'm a little late to the comment section... But I still have something to say! I'm learning how to play the first Steven Universe Medley (Great Job on that btw, I'm ETERNALLY GRATEFUL) , but I think I'll swap out the "Stronger Than You" in that one to the "Stronger Than You" in this medley, because its absolutely insane! The bad thing is, no one makes notes for flute players! I just got good at reading the notes quickly, so I can pretty much play everything as long as I have the notes. No channel so far that I've found has anything more than the theme song, and stronger than you. I know you can sometimes substitute piano notes for flute notes, but I prefer the flute ones.
I've been looking for songs like this to play on my tenor horn (or "alto horn" in america), but alas no one does anything for the tenor horn, let alone things from fandoms I like :P So I know your struggle!
We are NOT the most boring in the orchestra! We are actually pretty amazing. In a professional setting, were the best at counting and following the directors. Directors pray that the rest of the sections were like the flutes 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is honestly a perfect reflection of how the Steven Universe shows life in its true form. Sometimes it's messy, and sometimes we make mistakes, but life is beautiful because it's messy and we don't know what we're doing, so we just have to accept it for what it is. And then everything is warm and fuzzy.

I was in a really bad mood today, getting into some deep stuff about growing up, then I listened to this, and I got happy and realized, if you like shows like this when your an adult, then in a way, your still kinda a kid! And that made really happy!!! (Why am I even worrying about growing up? Im 12!!! Gosh!!)
I'm two months away from my 18th birthday. It sneaks up on you. It's not a bad thing, it's just different. People seem to put changes into Good or Bad, but sometimes it's just different. That's what growing up has been for me. Nothing has changed so much I can't handle it. It's just like that Adventure Time song, "Everything stays but it still changes. Ever so slightly, daily and nightly. In little ways, everything stays." There is no point where you are now grown up, it happens gradually, and you'll hardly even notice unless you're looking for it.

I know it's useless worrying about getting older but if it comforts you you're not the only one. I am almost 20 but I still can't believe I am considered an adult right now. And though I try it's certainly not always easy or fun too act like one. But like the other people above said it goes gradually and there are advantages too it too like being (almost) completly free to make your own decisions . And like Walt Disney once said there is a little bit of kid inside all of us. Anyway what I'm trying to say I guess is you have still plently of time to enjoy being young and you shouldn't become too afraid of change.

I'm learning how to play the first Steven Universe Medley (Great Job on that btw, I'm ETERNALLY GRATEFUL) , but I think I'll swap out the "Stronger Than You" in that one to the "Stronger Than You" in this medley, because its absolutely insane! Thank you SO MUCH! Happy New Year Lol
The bad thing is, no one makes notes for flute players! I just got good at reading the notes quickly, so I can pretty much play everything as long as I have the notes. No channel so far that I've found has anything more than the theme song, and stronger than you. I know you can sometimes substitute piano notes for flute notes, but I prefer the flute ones.
Maybe you can try printing out the piano sheet music and marking the melody somehow? It's usually the highest note in the right hand.

I've been looking for songs like this to play on my tenor horn (or "alto horn" in america), but alas no one does anything for the tenor horn, let alone things from fandoms I like :P So I know your struggle!
We are NOT the most boring in the orchestra! We are actually pretty amazing. In a professional setting, were the best at counting and following the directors. Directors pray that the rest of the sections were like the flutes 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is honestly a perfect reflection of how the Steven Universe shows life in its true form. Sometimes it's messy, and sometimes we make mistakes, but life is beautiful because it's messy and we don't know what we're doing, so we just have to accept it for what it is. And then everything is warm and fuzzy.
