One of the best bass players on the planet. Imaginative and melodic, his basslines often drove and carried their early work. Also, it almost hurts to look at him, he's so beautiful - and that voice! 🤤
sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
HE IS SOOOO GOOD LOOKING GUY, VERY CHARMING, THE EYES TELL THE INSIDE, I LIKED HIM A LOT, AS A YOUNG GIRL I WOULD HAVE DIED FOR HIM. WOW JOHN TAYLOR!!!!!!!!!!
He's admitted to his assorted drug 'phases' (I read his book) so I'm not speaking out of turn here, but wow does he look stoned in that 1988 interview. If memory serves this was his 'hash' period. Thank goodness he found sobriety & long lasting love & family, otherwise we might not have Duran Duran today. He's not only a fantastically talented musician but he's an inspiration as well. If you wanna play the long game, you gotta keep your eyes wide open. Thanks for all the music and the memories. DD4EVER.
What you just said made me cry. Thanks for being supportive of John. Without him there would be no more Duran Duran for us. Thank you for acknowledging his talent.
He is great whatever he thinks .And he made it all by himself .I love him playing the bass .It's just like a heartbeat .In a nutshell John playing his bass is making thousands of hearts beat .
He had alot of cool hairstyles and hair colors. I am not usually fixated on looks in regards to musicians (except when I was a teen), but I admire guys who are creative with their hair and clothes.
One thing that's very evident is on TV they have never sounded like they come from Birmingham (that's the UK BTW. It would be even weirder if they sounded like they came from Alabama LOL), There's not a hint of Midlands accent at all, they should sound like Ozzy Osbourne.
Evolution? I guess you could say he became calmer, more soft-spoken and humble over time. But as you add years and subtract drugs, I think this is the expected result. I admire John for his musicianship and down-to-earth demeanour. I hope we get more Duran Duran for years to come. Preferably with Andy!

Yes!
John is nortoriusly a wild boy coming undone in an ordinary world. That’s something you should know! Duran Duran for life!
THIS IS THE BEST COMMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN 😳

@Thaddeus Keanu instablaster =)
John has an inner lightness to him now. Having stood feet from the man, you can feel it.
Laurie Holdt je shook my hand too!!! My inner teenager almost died too!!
John has a very pleasant voice and captivating way of speaking. With his look, sexy voice, wit and charm he definitely can talk anyone into anything
Have you heard his autobiography audiobook? It is amazing!
He still takes my breath away.....

If you look at pics of 1988/89, you'll see how much weight he lost and even how his teeth were suffering! It was so sad to see him like that.

Yes Ladies you are all correct, but the man is ALSO a fantastic musician :)
Yes but when we look into his eyes that seems almost secondary!❤❤❤❤
We already knew that.
He plays the bass guitar for gods sake.
He sure is … one of the best
I gotta say his 1983 hair still looks damn cool
Probably needed eight cans of spray product though, oh the 80's & the ozone layer!!😂
@@abingleyboy probably but maybe he just mixed in water and sugar..:-)) but i love that at 53 he still has his unique John Taylor hair.style:-))
The ever evolving hair of John Taylor, not a bad look in the bunch.......and oh quite the bass player!
He's so beautiful I wanna die.
Bass god!!!❤️❤️❤️

Hermoso mi amor john taylor❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
John is very good looking, hope he had a blast when he was young.
He used those looks. Believe me!
He was always high 🤦♀️
@@ribitt06 Not always. Late 20s to middle 30s he said in his book. Got sober in 1995.

Such a lovely guy everytime I met him. We're both 60 now - 60! Ugh 😨
Love him and will forever .Whatever happens .
Most bands have a lead guitarist ... Duran Duran had a lead Bassist!
Ahh early 80s, when John still had his Brummie accent. You can hear it when he says 'Ya'know', particularly in the earliest interviews
He is a great bass player and super attractive. Even now at 64 he still turns heads.
So he lost his Brummie accent somewhere between 83 and 86
He was my big big big LOVE☝❤❤❤
Me too
@@Juki.227 👍👍😘😘
Durante 1983 - 1986 es un muñequito. Me parece que el look durante 2004 lo podría mantener ahora con 60 años... Le favorecería...
Eres. Mi. Rey❤❤❤❤❤
He looked so tired for the entirety of 1986 !😞
I love John. I wanna give him a burger though…
He still looks great. I feel like if he lightened his hair a bit it wouldn’t age him so much. Love the blonde from years ago...
Wow you can definitely tell when he was going through his "Junkie" phase.

David Sylvian, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes...
1995 is when he got sober!
The 2004 footage to me he reminds me of a Tom Cruise look.

Recording two, three times ? Is he kidding me ? Recording fifty, sixty, seventy times as many great artists did.....
He used to do something really irritating by constantly closing his eyes. He's got better at that fortunately!
I hate what time does to people.
It'll catch up with you as well you know?
It mellows them emotionally, on the bright side
@@bolso66 no I didnt. I hadn't discovered that great truth yet.... ONLY you were Smart enough to know that. Thank you for telling it.
He's very thin these days. Looks like he needs a good steak and chip dinner.
He hasn't aged well.
He's still gorgeous at 61.
@@JOHNNYSGIRL1960 All in the eye of the beholder.
That is a fake square chin....
