10:15 I've always loved this about brostep genres; when the last note of a loop drags on through the downbeat, missing the kick, making the impact of the snare way harder.
Yes like halfway through the drop I see that happening all the time from the pros it’s a sick advanced way to transition that full section into the next phrase
Dude that’s great!! Keep learning and hmu with any questions, this is a huge struggle for most so keep mastering this concept and it will do wonders in your sound 🔥
This is so awesome, thank you ! Your way of explaining things is so precise and concise, for a complete nooooooob like me, this kind of video is gold !
Can you breakdown the call and response of Kine Party - Centipede drop? It goes a whole 8 bars before repeating, and doesn't seem to care about call and response.
@@Dripment The first four bars of the drop have a call with the main bass, but the main bass gets used again in part of the response in the first 2 bars, making the call of the 3rd bar the same sound that was already playing. The 5th bar of the drop you could argue establishes as tonal call and response going from high to low notes, with the call and responses being shortened to 1 bar each, but even then, the second response starts on the off beat the second time, and then the last 2 bars of the drop are all that main bass again, even though the main bass is supposed to be the call when the 8 bar riff repeats. I understand ways to conceptualise it, and there are multiple valid ways to interpret music, like dubstep can validly be thought of as as either 70BMP or 140BPM, but Centipede is quite complicated and ive never seen a deep analysis of it's drop structure without taking the simplest perspective.
Yo drip I'm new around here.... Really digging your work brother.... I'm trying to mix today's electronic music with bluegrass... mainly trench Riddim and trap.... 🥀🔥👊
Hey brother thanks for watching the vids, you can definitely find your own sound mixing these genres together, keep pushing and evolving and make something new and fresh for us, sounds great dude. Please join my discord if you need to chill with the community and ask any questions as well ✌️
