I'm a fan of classic G1 Tailgate partly for his old toy bio, in which he believed all machines were alive, including appliances and such, and angry they were 'enslaved'.
When I first recorded the audio for this video, it was as twice as long as it is now entirely because of that bio. I had so much fun basically writing fanfic off the cuff about Tailgate being Moses for Toasters, but I cut it because I thought the only person who would find it funny was myself.
Interesting that the XTB “MP” Tailgate (Hatch) actually scales really well with current deluxe CHUG figures if you consider him not a minibot but should be the same size as the other deluxe car bots.
Hey! I’ve been loving these videos, a character I personally love that gets few figures is tarn/damus, in fact I’m not sure damus got a pre tarn figure.
I think the closest we’ve ever got to Damus is the couple of times a Tarn figure had a removable mask. I would love to do Tarn! I’ll be honest, the que for future episodes is filling up fast, to the point where the next six episodes have already been decided. That said, Tarn is definitely going onto that list!
Yeah, he’s an old figure now. The aftermarket price isn’t insane, but it’s still a lot higher than it was. That’s the sad part of third party: so much of the time, if you aren’t there when the figure was released, there’s never going to be a chance to grab them again.
Thundercracker is one I really want to do. Episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8 are all almost ready to go. Honestly, with Thundercracker being one of my favorites, I think he’d be a great episode 10! In terms of who is next, we have Ransack, then Sideswipe, Lockdown next, and Jazz will make 8.

If you’re not certain about how to do it, look up how some others have done it! I thought I could never customize anything, but I watched some tutorials and found the tools I liked for it. I personally use gundam markers, but you could learn to use paint or even sculpting new things!
