Just so you know the black tabs where you load the printer paper is meant to guide the labels so it prints correctly in the center of the printer. pinch them in when you open the lid. on a side note i have an issue i was hoping you would know how to fix =p When i load the labels in it always spits out the first one as a blank when i load them in Also if you want to make your own labels you can use paint(.)net create the canvas you need then design away. Also when tearing the paper off pull up the cutter is on the top 😉 Ok for anyone having similar issue, after you do the label calibration, i thought you had to load the labels the same way, open lid and load. just slide labels from the back of printer and it should tug itself forward when it hits teh sensor/roller Hope this helps others
I love mine, had it a couple of months, and even though I don't post out that many parcels, it still is worth it for the time it saves me by having a dedicated printer for labels, and it prints so quickly; plus it works well with a Royal Mail Click and Drop account - for anyone else in the UK that may be thinking about getting one

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
I loved mine until I realized that they never seem to have the labels I need in stock. In the q&a I noticed others having similar issues over the past several months. Now they messaged me stating that their chips were bad and it will be yet another month for new ones to be available. So, I have to return it before the return window closes because I can’t risk their continued issues. I’m in the US, although I don’t think that matters if their company is having issues in general. Mine is the small teddy bear label maker, so I hope that you don’t run into the same issues with yours. Best wishes!

You need to bring the 2 little guides into be touching the sticker. That is what keeps it from moving around. It will put the sticker in the middle. You use the guides for the mail labels too.
I recently purchased the same printer. Like you, I think it will keep printing costs down. I did get the roller holder. I think it keeps the roll steady. Its wasting me so many labels.. i sit there and print labels 1 by 1 if I'm lucky.. but it keeps doing duplicates asking me to resume printing. I spent so much money on it and wanted one since the start of my business, and now its just such a pain. I have not been able to print labels continuously, only separate cause it prints blanks.
Had never heard of this machine before and then suddenly I've been seeing it everywhere the past two days 😆 I'm saving towards a Dymo 4XL as I lovelovelove my Dymo 450 (and 400 which I gave to a friend). But your video has perhaps swayed me 😆 will have to wait and see when I have the $$$. I predominantly ship large letters so my little Dymo does the trick for now. Thanks for the great vid! The barcode issue is caused by printer resolution. I think your printer is 203dpi. For aupost label to work you need a printer with resolution of 300dpi
Just yesterday I was considering purchasing a heat printer 😄 Unfortunately, I quickly realized my business is still a bit too small to justify such purchase, but I'll definitely keep this one in mind for when the time comes! 😉
Hey lovely, I'm another small Aussie business and I have the dymo thermal printer and can confirm my local post office has alot of trouble scanning the barcodes. They do get there in the end with it, but not without a bit of effort with their scanner lol. Have loved watching your business grow and thrive xx

Okay so for me I had to put my computer printer settings on 1.92 inches length and width! all 0's for the rest of the dimensions and that works like a dreammm!!! Thank you!!

If you push and slide the two black paper holders in towards the center it will hold the roll of paper properly.. My issue is in creating the labels😢😢 oops! I watched the c rest of your video and see you solved this issue!!! Good for you.

Just be aware that if you "print" a label and it doesn't print you are charged at Paypal and the USPO then you have a nightmare dealing with these phantom sales that show up This must be a common thing because there are many that have experienced it

Hi! You can print any size smaller than a 4x6 label you’ll just need to find the correct non brand thermal paper because I’m pretty sure munbyn don’t sell the sizes your talking about 😃

I got mine from the Munbyn website 😊 I did hear some people are having trouble getting shipping to aus tho you may need to email them and see if they have stopped shipments due to NSW and vic lockdowns as I know USA have limited theirs

How do you know that the labels won't scan properly? I also have a Mac and a Munbyn and I've printed my labels and they seem fine, but hearing you say that they don't scan makes me wonder if mine are the same way. How can I check?
On Shopify I scan my labels in for tracking information, I’m unsure how to do it if you don’t have Shopify. The qr part works tho and that’s all that matters ☺️ when you hand your parcels into the post office they usually scan them straight away and that’s another way you can tell if it’s working

Did you buy directly through the company website or through amazon ? I can get it soooo much cheaper with the coupon through the website but i'm just worried about where it will ship from and where i would need to return if it is faulty.
Every time we change the labels there’s the little plastic holds the papers together push it in so hold it so it doesn’t move around and then you could change it to the size of the paper

Still love it! Haven’t had any issues with postage even tho the long barcode doesn’t scan. Only QR code works. Apparently munbyn have bought out a better version too that fixes that issue

For mailing labels yeah. For stickers not so good if you want them to last thermal printer ink fades after a short while. It’s just the nature of the thermal printer. All thermal printers do the same thing. FADE! U ever get a receipt from a grocery store? They use thermal printers. Some people scan their receipts cuz if they have to return an item, it’s all faded and then the CSR. Can’t see it because it has disappeared from the receipt!
Which version is this printer - basic/standard or Pro? They have different resolutions (dpi) so I would guess that makes a big difference to print quality.
Hi, I'm struggling here trying to find if I should buy this Munbyn or Brother QL-1110 or QL-820nwb. I don´t know if in the brother thermal printer we can use general stickers like these with colors and different formats. The attracting thing for me in this munbyn is that. Can you help me with that? Can you put other brand labels on brother? And another thing is that brother has 300dpi and this only 203dpi. :( Thank you so much.
Probably a year in good storage, I haven’t had any last that long as I used all my stickers within 6 months. But if you leave them in sunlight they will fade my drink bottle one did. I put one on a pot plant in the hallway when I made this video and that’s still ok only faded a little
It could but my only concern would be as it’s a thermal print it may fade over time. Best to contact Munbyn to see if they have a timeframe for their branded paper as I’m not to sure myself sorry!

Apparently the one I mentioned in the video doesn’t work for I’m guessing ‘sale’ items but I looked on honey ( a chrome extension that finds discount codes) and there’s a code that’s SA18 for 18% off everything inc sale. I read online the thermal sticker prints last 6-8 months if stored correctly! So perfect for packaging but if you don’t go through a lot maybe only make small batches ☺️
I asked about the price difference, as I really like the product. They replied that it was due to the extra cost to ship … but at the same time the website says shipping is free. The website is currently quoting $243 for the printer :(
Well - its always easy to see from an outside perspective! …but you never know if you ever have to practice again then use those! And I also had trouble with my barcode on the munbyn, first time I tried, but I adjusted settings and it worked right away - pure luck on my part! 🍀
Hello! As it’s a thermal printer I don’t think that sort of thing would be available they don’t use ink (thermal printers use heat to activate paper sort of like receipts) unless there’s very special type of clear thermal paper out there ☺️
Hi, I think you can, if you find the clear labels that suits the printer. I say this because I have a phomemo (for my bullet journal) and they are thermal and have clear plastic paper. Hope this helps.

I also unplug it and plug it back in every time and it still will continue from the other day..
Same I’m returning it. Avery is simpler, more costly but you won’t have to deal with that.

Does anyone know if this printer water proof labels. I'm trying to get labels for bottles that go in the shower.b
They are water resistant, but they would probably peel off if in the water to long. They also fade after 6-12 months so not ideal. Try printable vinyl

try downloading the aus post labels as a pdf then print the file, it fixed my issues with dymo

In australia the standard is the only option we can get, I found it great tho my packaging stickers are super clear ☺️

It works for the QR part, as long as either the barcode or QR part works it’s fine to ship ☺️ I’ve been using the labels for my parcels
Beings the blank sticker roll comes from outside of the printer, does this mean you could use any brand and size of sticker roll??
Hey! Yes I’ve used off brand before, I do prefer munbyn brand tho as the cheaper stuff doesn’t print as nice I’ve found. Fine for shipping labels tho

Did you buy directly through the company website or through amazon ? I can get it soooo much cheaper with the coupon through the website but i'm just worried about where it will ship from and where i would need to return if it is faulty.

Every time we change the labels there’s the little plastic holds the papers together push it in so hold it so it doesn’t move around and then you could change it to the size of the paper

Still love it! Haven’t had any issues with postage even tho the long barcode doesn’t scan. Only QR code works. Apparently munbyn have bought out a better version too that fixes that issue
@@TaylahRose i was just talking to their team and yeah they have a 300dpi version that's apparently much more compatible with AusPost! Thank you for getting back to me! I'm thinking to just print my shipping labels at officeworks/post office for now since I'm just starting, and then hopefully will get one of these when I'm better off. :)
For mailing labels yeah. For stickers not so good if you want them to last thermal printer ink fades after a short while. It’s just the nature of the thermal printer. All thermal printers do the same thing. FADE! U ever get a receipt from a grocery store? They use thermal printers. Some people scan their receipts cuz if they have to return an item, it’s all faded and then the CSR. Can’t see it because it has disappeared from the receipt!
That’s okay, the stickers are for packaging which will be thrown away so no biggie ☺️

Which version is this printer - basic/standard or Pro? They have different resolutions (dpi) so I would guess that makes a big difference to print quality.
In australia I could only get the standard so I can’t comment on quality difference sorry :(

Hi, I'm struggling here trying to find if I should buy this Munbyn or Brother QL-1110 or QL-820nwb. I don´t know if in the brother thermal printer we can use general stickers like these with colors and different formats. The attracting thing for me in this munbyn is that. Can you help me with that? Can you put other brand labels on brother? And another thing is that brother has 300dpi and this only 203dpi. :( Thank you so much.
How long do the print last before they fade away?
Probably a year in good storage, I haven’t had any last that long as I used all my stickers within 6 months. But if you leave them in sunlight they will fade my drink bottle one did. I put one on a pot plant in the hallway when I made this video and that’s still ok only faded a little
Can this printer print product labels for cosmetic brands ?
It could but my only concern would be as it’s a thermal print it may fade over time. Best to contact Munbyn to see if they have a timeframe for their branded paper as I’m not to sure myself sorry!

Thermal printers are heat activated so they don’t require ink ☺️ the heat activates the special paper. So no unfortunately it only does black

Apparently the one I mentioned in the video doesn’t work for I’m guessing ‘sale’ items but I looked on honey ( a chrome extension that finds discount codes) and there’s a code that’s SA18 for 18% off everything inc sale. I’m not sure it would work on Amazon tho but could always download the extension (honey discounts) to a laptop and see if anything pops up 🥰🥰

I know you just started using it recently but do you know if the printing lasts or if it fades over time?
I read online the thermal sticker prints last 6-8 months if stored correctly! So perfect for packaging but if you don’t go through a lot maybe only make small batches ☺️

I noticed that aha so weird. I was able to get the printer down to $188 with free shipping but still would be cheaper living in a different country 🥲
I asked about the price difference, as I really like the product. They replied that it was due to the extra cost to ship … but at the same time the website says shipping is free. The website is currently quoting $243 for the printer :(

Well - its always easy to see from an outside perspective! …but you never know if you ever have to practice again then use those! And I also had trouble with my barcode on the munbyn, first time I tried, but I adjusted settings and it worked right away - pure luck on my part! 🍀

Hello! As it’s a thermal printer I don’t think that sort of thing would be available they don’t use ink (thermal printers use heat to activate paper sort of like receipts) unless there’s very special type of clear thermal paper out there ☺️

Hi, I think you can, if you find the clear labels that suits the printer. I say this because I have a phomemo (for my bullet journal) and they are thermal and have clear plastic paper. Hope this helps.
