The final segment was initially intended as a protest, but they also altered the music. It strikes me as highly unusual that Dior would exploit symbols of protest, effectively commodifying the suffering of the Mexican people. It's important to note that Mexico's identity encompasses far more than just Frida Kahlo.

A very nice collection such fluid, pure, integral embroidery and the fabrics and colors yet it all looked elegant and stylish and feminine. However I do not get the rain coming down on the models as well as the white dresses with all kinds of social radicalism protest statements. The music was nice and at first was exotic as the place which was chosen in Mexico but then it was just weird and the spanish chanting was perverse and tacky and corny what does women were saying.
I can see the Frida Kahlo influence. Appreciate the Beautiful backdrop, fantastic architecture of this show. Where in Mexico City was the show held? Does anyone know!?
