- In today’s video, we’re going through a BMW Genius’ favorite way to configure a new BMW! This will generally apply to all BMW models equipped with iDrive 7 ( ~2018 through ~2023 X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 7 series and 8 series). We’ll go through basic settings like headlights and wipers, as well as more in depth settings like doors and vehicle access and driver assistance.

I am proud of you. You are utilizing Video, Audio and social media to inform and educate past, current and future clients. Everyone could do what you do but only you took the time. I spent 40 + years in the Automobile Business attempting to motivate sales professional to do just that. It takes a special personality that you obviously have. Literally yesterday, I took delivery of a 2024 M440i convertible. I have been retired for 5 years. In those 5 years, CRAZY things have happened to vehicle technology. My new hobby it to internalize all my vehicle can do and adjust it to my personal needs. Similar to what a client would do to their Home Automation program to enhance their lives. Hello, I own 2022 bmw m3 almost ayear, but I have no success to get my Apple iwatch series 8 to work as digital key to my car, can you post a videos how to set up iwatch, I have my phone , my BMW credit card works as key, how many digital keys this app allowed, or should I delete BMW credit card digital key so Iwatch will works? Thanks
Sounds like it might be an issue with the watch... if the phone is working, and the option in Apple wallet is there to share to watch and it still doesn't work, it might be a watch or phone problem. I'd try disconnecting all digital keys and re-pairing.
Well, I bough a 2020 M340i and i reset but I live in the Dominican Republic and the bmw message app disappear from my Idrive 7. What can I do?
Unless it's a market difference (not sure if DR cars are the same as US market cars) the BMW messages app should be there, especially after an iDrive reset. You can try updating apps and services, but if that doesn't work, it sounds like a trip to a service center may be in order for you.
