This time my underground shelter was visited by strangers. I was lucky that they left order in my house, I hope that only good people will continue to come to my forest shelter...

I'm sorry they invaded your space. This world is so crazy. People have no respect for others pride and happiness. All my respect for you.
I am so sorry that the person that came without your permission only add grief to your day. All the complements they gave you could not undo the harm they did. I will keep you and your personal little cabin in my prayers.
Permission? What by appointment? So "stumbling upon the shelter" is not "permitted" and probably on public land, Writing BS in previous comments about wood ready for the visitor? Clearly that was the VERY FIRST VISITOR AND IT'S UPSET YOU
They were false compliments from the UA-cam stalkers. The sole purpose of leaving that letter was to brag to Alex about finding his shelter, and exploiting it as a free-of-charge 'Air B&B'.
No matter, the freeloading scumbags brought a ton of bad karma on themselves. And Alex will guard his locations more keenly now.

He's the "caretaker" of his stage where performs his duties for the pleasure of his audience and probably gets a "tasty" income from UA-cam? I agree he probably gets a good income from this... but there is no excuse to not have common courtesy for others that may follow - let alone for him. I used to live in the far north myself and happened across cabins on Crown land left purposefully open for others to use - if need be. They were usually (but not always) left in good condition cause people respected others who may follow. I always left them in better condition than when I got there... and am always appalled when people didn't show me / others the same respect. Its great that he does this - thats his choice - but just cause he does, doesn't give others the right to just come in, use up everything, then leave.

Someone who accidentally happens upon your shelter and is in need of shelter due to circumstances is one thing. It is entirely another thing for a fan to deliberately search out your place based identifying factors in your videos, then help themselves without any kind of permission or even a heads up. It's just rude. I hope the fan who did that is watching this video and reading the comments section. YOU'RE RUDE!

What you've typed doesn't make sense because I am in agreement that it isn't a community shelter and there is a huge difference between someone being in a difficult situation where their wellbeing relies on accessing such a shelter and someone who is just willynilly walking in the forest and comes across it. I would not suggest that the latter just helps themselves. My true colours? I think it's concerning that someone can deliberately engage in stalking behaviour by observing minute details about someone's unspecified location and then identify said location and seek it out. It's both concerning and rude and the fact that I stated so doesn't indicate anything negative about my character or colours. It was merely an observation.

I watch a channel in which that young man walked in on the gentleman who made himself at home in the youtuber's shelter. That was scary, but it turned out OK, and everything appeared to be safe. Please be mindful of your surroundings and stay safe.

Alex doesn't lock it because he is a good human, and he wants people to be able to use it for its intended purpose - which is an emergency shelter, to sustain life for people lost in the forest. It is not a free 'Air B&B' for any cheeky scumbag to seek out for a free vacation, without his knowledge or permission!
The way that grotty pair 'Vitaly and Aigul' behaved - enjoying overnight accommodation and resources, without even replacing the logs they burned, cleaning up or closing the door and windows on leaving, only conforms what a pair of low-lifes they are.
Some people stealing Alex's hospitality like that might have had sufficient decency to leave him a small gift, to say thank you - say a brand new sleeping bag, or a kitchen gadget. Those two left him a note bragging about what they'd done. Yuk! So glad I don't know any scumbags like that.
This bad experience will be a positive learning curve for Alex, to prevent a worse event. He has said he will be more discreet about his location in future UA-cam videos, to prevent this kind of abuse happening again. The kind of people who would disrespect him and seek out his shelter for a vacation, are the same people who would disrespect the wildlife, leave garbage and cigarette ends, and potentially start a forest fire.

When I was very young my Mother taught me to always leave things cleaner than I found them. In this case who ever found your shelter and took advantage of your home away from home should have replinished your stockpile.
Agree💯 I would never seek out his shelter and stay there without his prior permission, as those cockroaches did. However, the fact they didn't leave him a gift in recognition of the hospitality they stole from him - just a letter bragging about what they'd done - tells us exactly who they are. That note wasn't 'lovely' at all - they were clearly bragging. Neither was it 'kind' of them to deliberately seek out Alex's shelter and use it (and its resources), without his knowledge or permission.
If Vitaly and Aigul had an ounce of decency, they would have left Alex a thank you gift, in recognition of what they took from him. But no - they only left a note, laughing about how clever they were to find it, and invade it. That tells us exactly who they are.
Sadly there are many Takers like them in the world, and they frequently abuse good people like Alex. He will be more guarded about his location in future, and protect himself and his hard work from maggots like them.

You clearly didn't read the description or pay any actual attention to the video, whatsoever. He gave the cabin over to the public domain, and posted invitations and directions for people to find the cabin. Hence why the couple that found it were clearly admirers and referenced following those same, public domain directions.

Agreed, to deliberately seek out and enjoy the shelter Alex worked so hard to build, without his knowledge or permission is an outrageous act of disrespect and ill-manners. The fact someone is apparently defending those two cockroaches in the comments is hilarious - seems he was raised by wolves too, and is equally clueless about basic common courtesy!
Thank God I don't know such savages in my real life - sadly there are many of them lurking behind computer keyboards. Glad Alex is going to be more guarded in future about his building locations. He respects nature and the environment, but the scumbags who stalk him and squat in his shelters care nothing about littering or carelessly starting forest fires.

Alex, I have a tip that could help you splitting fire wood. First cut some logs about 18" tall It may take 4. Then trim them so they all fit snug together to make a chopping bloch and nail them together. Then place a tire flat on top of the logs and nail the tihedown to the top of the block. Then when you want to split wood stand 3 or 4 inside the tire and when you split them they should remain inside the tire when you are finished splitting those pick them all together and stack them and replace them with more logs and go again.If you try this work with them till you get it all ok. I think your cabin is really nice and cozy. I enjoy visiting with you at night. looking forward to many more visits.
You should find the fan who went in to your dug out and show up a their place. Go in, make a sandwich, take a dump and leave a nice note.

Alex, I've enjoyed almost all of your videos. It is easy to get attached to the things you've poured so much effort into. Watching you, I feel a part of the process, and I'll miss seeing this place. Growing up, we had a family cabin in the woods, and sometimes it would get broken in to by people lost, and that was hard. But this is something else, someone bragging about finding you, but invading your private place, so disrespectful. Please, next one you build, can you also add security options and not show us? Please, stay safe. And thank you for continuing on to another adventure.

It’s so sad they need a place to stay but they never respect or take good care of it! Amazing how vile people can live everyday.
This place is almost like home. Do you just have to go to the bathroom out in the woods...Could a toilet be put in one of these type of houses or bunkers... That's the only thing that is missing ...a bathroom and place wo clean up. Have you ever done anything in one of these bunkers that could have something like that. Is there a way and still keep it simple.
He has built bigger shelters, which contain a chemical toilet. That aspect always worries me too - who wants to head out for a 'call of nature' in deep snow and sub zero temperatures?!

It's on public land. The point is, the shelter was built for exactly that purpose - shelter for people stumbling upon it in the woods, and needing shelter from the elements. The winters there get incredibly cold, and a place like that saves lives. That's why Alex doesn't lock it - it is intended as a community resource.
It wasn't built as a free vacation home for UA-cam stalkers to rock up and use whenever they feel like it!

It could have been worse, it's true, vandals could have trashed it. But bad enough a pair of creepy UA-cam stalkers worked out the location of the shelter from a video, then travelled there and used it for a free vacation without Alex's knowledge of permission. They even left him a note, bragging about what they had done. They are clearly very unsavoury people.
He built that as a shelter for public use, which is why he doesn't lock it. That means he's happy if people out hiking and maybe lost/in trouble stumble on it, and use it for its intended purpose - shelter from the elements, and staying alive. I wonder how that stranger would feel if he comes home, finds door unlocked and house used and a letter : "dear soandso, I like you, you are so cool and this place is cool but it is missing a little color. You surely don't mind when I paint here one wall red. " people should respect other people's private sphere. This is stalking in my opinion. Even if the letter was written in a friendly way some people's mood can flip in an opposite direction if things don't go how they expected. A little caution would be appropriate. It's not a "home" probably not on Alex family land but on public land which Alex believes you can build on and claim It's your's or your property which it isn't and will be visited, Hopefully in the same condition you left it, In comments the other week a Vietnam veteran lived out the woods in America and for 40 years built cabin across Canada and North America and other people used them and often leaving many tins of food in the summer with a thank you note

There's some very weird comments on this video. If you build something on public land then you have absolutely no ability to restrict who uses it. People building on public land know this and it's just lucky if nobody else uses what they have created.
