Hello everyone, my name is Alexey. Today, after a long break, I am going to my dugout, which I built with my own hands several years ago. I left my dog at home, but don't worry, he's fine. The dog received an annual vaccination, after which he cannot be outside for a long time, so my dog stayed at home. He's safe and doing well!
I haven't been here for about 2 months so everything is covered in snow. This season has a very snowy winter. It was very difficult for me to clear the snow to get inside. Thanks to this amount of snow, we were able to test the strength of the entrance doors. They withstood 35 centimeters of snow. I think this is a good result.
There were mice inside the dugout and they again made a mess. But first you need to light a fire inside the stove.
To chop firewood, you need to clear the area of snow. I haven't cleared so much snow yet. The birch logs that stood inside the dugout stuck to each other and to the floor. All because they began to rot. But this will not prevent you from using them as firewood.
I decided to throw out all the garbage and everything that the mice touched, because it is dangerous, they spread deadly diseases. I also brought a tablecloth for the table.
For dinner I will cook potatoes with chicken in sour cream. This is a very simple but at the same time delicious dish. Chop the potatoes and chicken, pour in the oil, add salt, seasoning and a lot of sour cream. Wrap in foil and place in the oven for 50 minutes.
While my dinner is preparing I read a book: The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.
After dinner I went out to the street to get some fresh air before going to bed. I also decided to look at animal tracks in the snow. I think there was a fox walking around here.
It's getting close to night. Time to go to bed!
At night I wake up every 2-3 hours to add wood to the stove. If you don’t do this, it will be cold inside, about +15 degrees Celsius. The oven can heat the room to +30 degrees Celsius or higher.
In the morning I like to wash my face with snow, it’s refreshing.
I rolled up the tablecloth before I left so the mice wouldn't walk on it, and next time I'll take the tablecloth out again.

Alexey what you need is a wooden cabinet that you can cover the outside with sheet metal so mice can't chew through .but I am truly happy today because your back it's been hard not watching your videos please don't go away for a month lol
i had a serious mouse problem as well in my camp trailer, right before i patched and fortified all of the ingress holes they chewed i stuffed steel wool in them as well, cuts their gums to ribbons after a few bites(which often kills them later) and that has worked as a great deterrence

My goodness that was a lot of snow in a few months. I missed Pyosel but glad to hear he is doing fine after his vaccination. Food looked delicious as always and you seemed snug and warm although you have to get up a few times in the night to keep it going which is a bit of a pain but worth it for the warmth particularly in those temperatures. I saved this video for a good day cause I know you don't load up new videos so often and it's always so nice to watch it. These huge amounts of snow always reminds me of my childhood life as I grew up in north Germany at the Baltic sea. There we had rough winters with a lot of snow too. But that's already so long ago. We don't have such winters here anymore 😢we often don't even have snow, which is really sad. So watching you in this lovely snowy winter wonderland is always heartwarming for me 😍😍thx for this 😘😘🤗I wish you and your family all the best 😘😘🤗🍀and of course for Pyosel too, he's such a cutie 😍😘

I think Grandmothers glass jars with metal lids need to go to the cabin! You can keep all rodents out of your sugar, tea, coffee and flour. Metal tins for paper and plastic items too. Nice to see our favorite little shelter in the beauty of winter. Love to the doggie and see you again soon.
