I really don't know what to think of the J streamlining either, but like it or not, it's synonymous with 1211. I saw a post by mainline steam a few weeks back of 1211 without her streamlining and it felt wrong on a fundamental level

Say what you will about the J class streamlining, but 1211 is iconic because of it
Hey can you do a video where you go inside the k ka and kb class steam engines pls 😊
1:21 been to that one nice lake near by
That is indeed a nice lake. The set-up with F 230 reminds me of D 170 in Helensville.
The NZGR D Class 0-4-0T just looks like a steam-propelled tender
1:21 I've been to that F Class! I believe it is in a park in Hamilton.
You are correct my good sir
Yepp hamilton lake, I don't know if it's still there though, a few years ago it was very corroded, haven't been there since.

#HistoryInTheDark did an entire episode about the V Class, with inevitable question of "What the hell was NZR thinking?!"
One of his videos has a piece on E 66 in it, and I cringed because of how obvious his lack of research was.

the g class looks like a prr k4 (because it is)
It's not a K4. They were actually built using the engine units from the failed Garratts, complete with AB boilers and tenders.
@@DC4260Productions So basically in my opinion
NZR G Class 4-6-2 "Honey I shrunk the Ka Class and lost a pair of it's driving wheels"
The Aa class were attractive looking engines in the end in my opinion
Greenholt Orchard
wait are you still playing Railroads Online?
Yes, but I sort-of lost interest in making videos about the game.
@@DC4260Productions oh ok
your welcome for the Y’s whistle blows 😂
2:27 well that didn't age well did it...
Vickie Club
Hyce can get scewed I like our Fairle and I have seen her on display
I like Fairlies as well, but I also understand why Hyce doesn't like them.

@@DC4260Productions Also wounder what he would have thought of the garrets and then after they were rebuilt lol
