Yes, Spector was violent w/her and she would have been very afraid, the way he brandished guns around and threatened to use them w/reckless abandon. She released a statement saying he was a brilliant producer but a lousy husband. Ronnie is now 77 yrs old. Love, "Be My Baby"!🎵❤

In the 80s -90’s I played sax in a horn section in NYC and we used to see her on the scene, sometimes she’d have a show and 1 on 1 she’d say terrible things about her suffering during their marriage but it was clear that it was worse than what she’d say about him. She held a lot more back we know which direction he went! 🔥

Playing venues in NYC 💗 must have been a blast and audiences must have loved it. 🎵🗽 The sax was the instrument Gene Hackman's character played in, "The Conversation", one of the best movies, ever (in my opinion).❤🎷🎬😊
@@isabellind1292 Oh yes Isabel when I was young and single I enjoyed playing all the clubs in NYC . My bass player had nothing else to do however so he had us booked a little too much. Funny thing about my sax was my mother was a concert pianist who classically trained us but she couldn’t stand listening to me singing 😂 so she bought me a sax at 16 and said “Here! I rather listen to a saxophone than your voice so learn this instrument 🎷 next!😡 . I had a lot of fun with it and at 18 joined a horn section in a rock n roll band.
Right now I play my sisters bass because I don’t have the wind power for the sax . 2 kids I stopped playing everything until recently! 😃 when I’m home alone I rock my socks off lol!

I Wanted to address my father’s passing. Of course I’m hurt and sadden by it and of course I miss him. That being said: I know my family is an unorthodox one, my father became more a stranger to me than a father but he is and always will be my father and I love him for it. I knew the man behind the disguise, the man without the suits, wigs, shades and persona that he created. He was a shy quite man. Uncomfortable with himself and the world around him. Music was his love, his passion and his legacy. My he rest in peace. I love you Dad.

In time you father will be remembered for the music he created and the impact he had on the world. He seemed to be a deeply troubled man, and we can only hope that now he is at peace.
