Lebanon needs to ally with Iran and build a front against Israel. Not a religious alliance, but one predicated on military support and intelligence sharing. After the Beirut Port incident, Lebanon has to make tough decisions, you can't bring in some corporate guy who is naive about the situation over there.

I have great respect for Calros Ghosn. His escape is one of the greatest anthologies in the history of great invasions.
This man deserves great respect because he was able to evade the surveillance of the police and the Japanese justice system. However, Japan is a serious and meticulous country, Carlos managed to fault them. It's worthy of a French polytechnician: clever, intelligent, smart...
My great respect to you Carlos!

He is dishonorable. It is Lebonese law that he be imprisoned for his involvement in growing the Isreal economy. Even for just going there. He has escaped justice again even in Lebanon. Whether or not you agree with the law, he has evaded justice due to his power and influence. Hopefully your "Acedemic Paper" involves him as a Cautionary Tale.

I mean, in many cases, you are partially guilty... the thing is that, hes was condemned even before the trial and thats not fair at all. Also, Im not sure if the escape was the right thing to do, even if Japan's judiciary system have some clear issues to be considered in this case.

They totally missed the big picture in the automotive industry. Carlos is a genius in self-promoting himself. That's about his only merit. I think his ex-wife described him with particular insight.
