That was interesting Dan. Everything looked so clean and neat with the rain. No crowds to fight through. some of the lighting was quite pretty. So much history there.
Love your videos ❤😊 I went on vacation for two weeks in Europe and all over, I loved it!! So much history and beautiful places. I enjoy looking at the beautiful grave stones as well and wondering about their lives and those times. I like your style of videos and you are a interesting person. You don't have to be perfect in filming or anything in my opinion I think you do a great job. Georgia Fan USA ❤
There's so much to see. Thank u again Dan, for this tour. Last time I was in Rome I was 6 I think I'm 60 next year! I was born in Florence my Dad was from Pisa I hope u go so I can have a look with U! Take care and stay safe!
wowza! so many treasures all within walking distance. I went all through Italy some years ago but sadly avoided Rome. Hope you are successfiull with your entry to fight as a gladiator in March. What an experience that would be. Thank you for taking us around this evening, most enjoyable. Cheers Dan
Really enjoying these videos 😊 it was lovely to see Rome again, I visited about 8-10 years ago and the Trevi fountain was under construction or renovation then, can't believe it's still not finished 😀
I just want to say thank you Dan for that us for a Christmas stroll around Rome. I know that this is what you do anyways but still it was entertaining. ❤🎄
sat in the recliner, cup of hot coffee and a mince pie, enjoying Rome, now that's how to spend a December evening.. Thanks Dan... Hope you have a wonderful Christmas, not a fan of rap, 72 year old Metal Head, so any Carols with a bit of metal would be good.. lol stay safe and thank you again for a brilliant year of videos.
Great video Dan 😊 I hope you are enjoying your first visit to Rome? My daughter took me there for my birthday 7yrs ago, it was fantastic, so much to see, such beautiful architecture and so much history. Great coffee and good food. The Trevi fountain was full and working then and it was just awesome. I really want to go back for another visit. They all drive like maniacs though, I thought France was bad, but gosh, you take your life in your hands near traffic in Rome 😅 Stay safe.
I enjoyed this video it was interesting to see the ancient monuments along side all that mad traffic and construction , looking forward to seeing tomorrow's video 😊
I’ve been te Rome more than 30 times. Also for my History study. I am very devoted to Rome. Beautiful works of art and buildings. There are also old buildings underground. St. Peter’s Basilica is so beautiful, with works of art by Bernini and Michelangelo. Too much to watch at once. I’m jealous that you are there. Enjoy Martha
Fantastic video! I've been to Rome several times, but never seen it like this. You really found a unique perspective - I was riveted all the way through your coverage. I no longer live in UK, but is that a Bolton accent I hear? (my home town). Nice to hear that again! Excellent work!.
Rome's lovely at night and it's a bit less packed out than in the daytime. There's a thing that quite a few of the bars in Rome do to attract custom. At a certain time, usually early evening if memory serves, they have something that's a bit like an all you want to eat buffet, just a bit scaled down. You pay a fixed price, buy a drink, then go up and load a plate with whatever you fancy. I think you have to be careful not to waste any though, or you have to pay for what you leave on your plate. Also, if you decide to go back to stay in Italy in the future, see if you can make it in the first week of March because the majority of the museums, galleries and places such as the Colosseum, the Vatican, Pompeii, Herculaneum and loads of other places are free to enter - me and my travel pal saved a load of money when we went because the majority of what we were doing was sightseeing. I think the only place we had to pay to get into was the Museo e Cripta dei Cappuccini (which is in Rome and is fascinating) and it wasn't all that expensive (about €5 I think), but photography and recording isn't allowed and if you get caught taking photos or filming, the tour guide will stand over you and make you delete it (but I managed to save some of my photos).
Almost as good artwork as some of the cemeteries you've taken us through. There's quite a few videos with people showing the same areas yet I can honestly say none are as good as yours. Your narrating is by far better. Thank you again for another great trip
I know you've mentioned a few complaints, but I've really enjoyed your tours. No reason not to cover the living as well as the dead. Thanks much for your videos. Do you have a Patreon?
So #1, glad you weren't run over by the unreal traffic of typical small Italian cars and scooters lol. #2 i thought it would be more festive decorated for Christmas, the department store looked so good with its decor. #3 You would be awesome as a gladiator! Are you going to be home for Christmas or still abroad?
Yeah the gladiator thing would be a great experience and an even greater vlog for comedy reasons. I'm tempted to lose my passport so I never have to leave Italy :)
So...Rome.... there's alot of history there & a beautiful city even in the rain, sorry you got wet-- but the driver's 😱. Did they bury the folks that died fighting way back or just feed them to the lions & other animals? Are they going to do fencing -- good luck at that - please be careful.
Thank you Dan for taking us with you merry Christmas x

There's so much to see. Thanks again, Dan, for this tour. ❤
Sure is, thank you bee x
Interesting to see as I used to go a lot - I trust you found better food than a frozen lasagne!
Wow, loving the films, very different to your other stuff. Feel like I'm there with you X
Shouldn't fancy being on an electric scooter there! Such beautiful buildings, would very much like to go there. Better than Naples lol

Mad traffic in Rome!
They just tore the scaffolding down last night.

Are you going to the Protestant Cemetery where Keats and Shelley are buried?
Mona Lisa is in the Louve in Paris. I have seen her there.
