If I may, even if you know what pitch is coming, the strike zone (and outside) is so large, it is impossible to know where a 98mph fastball will end up. Sliders don't always go in the dirt, curveballs can be tricky, cutters sometimes don't cut. A man on steroids just has to make contact on a squared up pitch and it's 500 feet.

My experience with reading body language, when the reporter asks him why he didn't want his teammates ripping off his shirt he immediately deflects the answer asking the reporter to repeat the question.
That would be ok, but he kinda chuckles when he asks 'what was that?" Meaning he heard the question but wasn't ready for an answer and needs another second to get in character. Then he gives that bs answer which should be proof by itself

It’s not that altuve couldn’t have possibly know what pitch was coming. Chapman missed two fastballs badly. His main secondary pitch is a slider. I was watching the live pitch by pitch and would have expected a slider if I was batting. I’m not even close to a good batter, altuve got drafted and got all the way threw the minors without knowing pitches, he would know the slider was coming.

@@czarii2422 Ex Astros fan here. I think the Astros are dead in this city. They have lost most of the fans trust and loyalty. This has me in a tailspin. Im done with them. Can you imagine being a long suffering Houston sports fan. The Texans lose a 24 point lead in one quarter, then get blown out, then the very next day, the Astros are officially labeled as frauds. One team is a cheat, the other a choker. Im done with both of them!

@@Supersonicspyro Ive been thru this before with the Oilers in 93, after that playoff debacle against the Bills The Texans loss was "a choke job of Oilerrific proportions". Once a team loses like that; it will never be the same. That's why the best thing to happen to the Oilers was to leave for Nashville, change their name and start fresh. You see how well theyre doing now. Texans are chokers just like the Oilers were. Its the Houston football curse!

I was saying for years how is he doing this it is physically impossible for him at his size and stature to hit home runs at or above his head and smacking gappers with off speed pitches that are in the other box. I mean if I remember correctly he even physically jump and while airborne hit a ringing double in the gap. Vladimir Guerrero had freakishly long arms so that made sense but Altuve physically was normal for a man his stature.
