I like how clear and direct Mr Davis's teachings are. I am able to sit in meditation without any techniques which sometimes makes me wonder if I should use all the techniques. It is relief to know that is not required. Mr Davis always answers the queries I have in mind when I watch his videos.

What a pitcher full of love knowledge and grace he is as he pours himself out on this subject.
This is the fruition of a career of teaching, lecturing and caring about people, he is like a freight train moving down the track, his ability to stay on point and still express love and kindness is relentless.
I know Yogananda’s heart was filled with warmth as he heard this lecture, as was Sri Yukteswar, Lahiri Mahasaya, Babaji, Krishna and Christ.

it would be neat to see Roy Davis do a 20 minute TED TALK. The world could use daily meditation.

Along the lines of swami kriyananda, but from a little different perspective. Both direct disciples of yogananda have profound insights and prove to be very selfless. Love this talk, helped me immensely.

Tom Osterholt how can you compare this man to kriyananda? Please read kriyananda s full story on Wikipedia.. He clearly strayed from the path. Mr Davis here seem to be very God like.

Someone asked dear Guruji about his thoughts on Swami Kriyananda once at a retreat, his reply was one of love. Along the lines of "everyone has things that they are working through, if he helped even one person find their way to Self realization, then he was a success

This is a good talk (like any other, from anyone else) for those who subscriber (or feel inclined to subscribe) closely to what is being conveyed.
To me, the only Standard is the Concept of Balance which has flexible definitions of right, wrong or the many in-betweens.
It is up to the individual to become aware of the relevant aspect or the Entirety of this Balance.
And if they are not in line with this Balance, they have to decide if it is right or compulsory for them to move towards It, along with the pace of it.
A lot of people think that getting close to God, only means following rigid rules and progressing beyond earth.
And yet, they forget that God has a presence in everything.
Even if you have to oppose something, know that you are opposing an aspect of God (or 'Yourself', if you are looking to be One with the Infinite Consciousness).

More people are involved in yoga-as we are moving-according to Sri Yukeswars book the Holy Science, into the Dwarpara yuga.
For a brilliant breakdown of the different types of consciousness see on utube Ramana Maharshi;Be as You Are Chapter 12 Experience and Samadhi...Sahaja samadhi-the unified field of awareness or Born Again. When the EGO is destroyed along with its karmas.
As we move further into the Dwarpara yuga the barrier between the conscious and subconscious mind becomes thinner. This can be verified by knowledge of your past lives.See new series on utube called the Ghost Inside my Child.Actual testimonials from children in the west remembering their past lives and beyond.
