We're back with another exciting software update, now available to all VARGs globally!
If your LED flashes purple (or yellow), your VARG is indicating that a software update is available. Simply download and install it over the air via the Stark APP.
Here are some exciting new features added to your bike:
Efficiency Improvements: Our engineers have spent months researching and testing to optimize the Vehicle Control Unit, Powertrain, and Battery. This results in:
Cooler temperatures in the powertrain
Increased range
Higher peak power
Improved power band algorithms for better traction and faster lap times
Crawl Mode: This new feature allows your VARG to reverse, lock its back wheel, and more by utilizing the electric powertrain.

Can't imagine needing more power but why not. At 60 hp mine is an absolute rocket, auto wheelie, way more than a 450. Love my Varg, amazing bike. Game changer. Almost no maintenance. The best thing is that it's so quiet. I think people need to realize how much damage the noise has done to our sport. If people can't hear us they won't care about us.

I got invited to ride at a guys back yard track yesterday. A couple local pros there road my Varg. The first guy to ride it was a 19 year old local pro. The first words out of his mouth, “that’s the most fun bike I’ve ever ridden”! Six other guys road it and every single person loved it. It is the best dirt bike I have ever ridden

Maybe arenacross but never will it conquer enduro or something like a two/three hour desert ride. They may be fun and have tons of power but gas bikes don’t need to charge overnight. Just my
Preference, I also fly a gyrocopter and if electric motors were a great idea and had range, they’d be in the experimental class or part 103 FAA rules.

rode my brothers at Pala (Fox raceway Ca) 55 years of racing & riding and I was completely shocked at how well this bike accelerated & handled. its a game changer for sure

@@DylanDoes490 mine was done in a bit over 5 minutes maybe. Just wait until the bike shuts off, and dont touch it while the lights are blinking.

Finally found your channel. I want to buy one but i dont know the daily use practicality. No one registers them and does do regular speed test on range. Cant wait for the official successor. Hope you’re all doing well Stark team

I am a huge fan/advocate for stark, I cannot express how bloody awesome the bikes are, anyone I know and mates of mates that have questions I let the bike speak for itself and let them have a ride, the smile they have coming back in after the test speaks for itself, and anyone that asks what bike they should get first words out of my mouth I the starkvarg 🤘🤘 excited for the future

Super impressed with the Crawl mode! Hopefully range improved a bit since it is the only limiting factor for Enduro riders.

Stark did mention the ability so set the Auto Neutral Timer that is a huge improvement.
I hope they are working on a Stark Varg 2.0 with a bigger battery that’s easily switchae and has more range. The Arctic Leopard 880 already has significantly more range.
Could you please teaser a time range when we can expect the enduro-supermoto version. Are we talking about months or years?
I ask them with email and they said that they don't have a dead line for this 2 models so idk more than that

This update has adressed all my concerns for my style of trail riding. Plus reverse! Has that ever been done before???
A Varg is definitely in my want list.
Great job with the power delivery. On par with the lower Hp settings.
More torque on the bottom end of lower HP is exactly what I was hoping for.
More torque and less of a hit in the top rpm is much better for technical trail riding.
Exactly my thoughts, finally what I wanted from the bike, until we can adjust the power band ourselves in the app.

I want to buy one of these, but it means I can't race motocross in Wisconsin anymore. Your top priority should be a speaker system so people can hear the bike behind them. This wouldn't even be that hard or expensive to do. You could just write a program that will connect to a Bluetooth speaker we buy ourselves.
Guys, I'm giving you an awesome idea! make a mode where engine braking is turned off when climbing and on a flat surface, and engine braking is turned on when descending, this will be a very cool feature for hard enduro

I'm excited for the day when I can ride an E-Bike 60-80 miles in an enduro setting. I've got my payment ready, but I don't think the stark is there yet, is it?

How about letting bike go down to 10% before power change? Or an option swipe for? Most of the bikes are on moto tracks- can easily get back to pits.

Is there an enduro version or a kit with a spotlight, 18" rim and kickstand? FIM competitions require this.
Is stark exploring the option of moving the battery to Molicel P50B or P60B cells in the future?

The power better not be dulled down at low speed like one of the upgrades they did . I used to ride mine on 30hp in tight single trail and after one of the updates 30 would die down so bad I had to push with my feet to get up over the last part of a hill that would have been a breeze if I had power ! I’d this battery increase has been achieved by dulling low speed power response it’s going to be very disappointing

Will the wheel stay locked when powered off? On my old bike I'd put it into gear when leaning it against something so it wouldn't roll backwards (or forwards). The Varg has made this more of a challenge, but if the wheel can lock when powered off it would make things easier.
@@jerkychew899 no, it needs to be on and in the crawl mode. If it's in the forward crawl, it will block the wheel going backwards and vice versa when in backwards mode. Also it will block/brake the wheel if you exceed the 6 kmh speed limit, I tried rolling it down a hill while in forward crawl mode.
Exactly like @jerkychew899 said. Since there is no gearing the VARG uses the motor to apply torque blocking the rear wheel. So it only works while turned on.
@@starkfutureofficial Thanks - Yeah the more I thought about it, if it locked when powered off and there was a failure... now you're locked. Maybe somebody could create a simple manual brake lever lock like Polaris ATVs have, for situations like mine.

You guys are amazing and should work together with Christian von Koenigsegg to improve the Stark VARG even more in my opinion.

They absolutely neutered the stark with this update. Can hold 80hp mode wide open now and only get 65 mph. Before you wouldn't think about doing that and could get 82mph before update. Can't lift front tire anymore in 60hp. Hopefully you can revert back to old software, because for us non track riding customers this ain't it. That and 2 day long charging on 110v at 0.5 amps I'm starting to lose patience.

Eventhoug they are based in Barcelona and driven by sweedish guys, they could do communications in spanish/sweedish (also catalan if I'm not wrong), they use English to reach people all over the world. So stop watching your belly button... Or keep watching it but don't bother the others.
French federation has made big steps, yes, same as others have done and others that will come in the near future I hope..

I sent an email to the company talking about testing and promoting the bike in a country that is prone to buy the newest and best dirt bikes.
Testing i would be putting the bike through its pases in the extreme conditions of the country. Please contact me
All i need to do now is wait 10 years so i can get a used one for 50k NOK .
