Serious design, even in 2021 this thing should be in the air by now

Our government officials are complete idiots for not building this jet, thus would strengthen the Royal Canadian Air Force indefinitely.

not in that configuration it shouldnt ... its CRAP
tbh it is essentially a french mirage fighter which the original already surpassed
as for being able to rebuild the arrow as a country ... no legally able to ... after the Arrow was cancelled and we went with the bomarc contract ... part of that was ... WE will no longer develop fighter jet aircraft as a country
so no as a COUNTRY with government funding ... it can not be done ... as a private endeavour ... it can be done though as long as NO GOVERNMENT funding is used ...
as for our aviation industry ... we have one of the best ... still ... just not many opportunities to put their skills to the test ...

I used to do quality assurance (QA) in the Canadian Armed Forces. Worked on (C)F18 heads up displays, sonobuoys for the USN and RCN, LAVs for the US Marine Corp/Canadian Army and Cruise/Tomahawk guidance system for the USAF and USN. My mentor provided QA on the Avro Arrow. I have the photo from the original negative of the Arrow as it was rolled out. We lost more than you can imagine when the programme was cancelled. For example, your cell phone is a direct result of computer micronization and quantum physics derived from the US space programme. We will never have all of our military equipment manufactured in Canada. But this.... this would have the potential of slingshooting Canada ahead in many areas of applied science and technology. Not to mention our defence... of course. Our worst enemy is our knack to slink away after a job well done and to forget. We have done so much yet the world forgets as well because we are afraid to look like our esteemed neighbours to the south. Russia has planted their flag in our northern seas and the US challenges our northern sovereignty as well. They test us not because of our lack of weapons but because of our perceived lack of self determination and national enthusiasm. The Super Arrow is not the Arrow. Too many differences. But it has the Canadian spirit forged from French and English history, and hammered and quenched in our war deads' blood..
If there's a francophone who can help me translate this, I'd appreciate it.

*Ahem*, First Nations, French and English history.
      Fixed that for you.

+K1ddkanuck It would seem like I goofed but not so. I was focussing on English and French culture intentionally. I'm Italian Canadian. Two of my brothers served in the Canadian Army during WWII. A great deal of discrimination based on the placement of a vowel. In the United States, some of my people were hung. First Nations played an important part as well... the War of 1812 is a wonderful example. We all played important parts. Although I'm very much tempted to include First Nations, my focus was on French/English for geopolitical reasons which ultimately pulled us into 1759, 1776, 1812, WWI and WWII all via Europe. By the way, Canada won the First World War. The reason why we are not recognized today for this accomplishment is because we were simply a dominion of the UK. We were lost in its shadow. But to end this, there are three cultural influences that forged Canada.... First Nations who generally did not side with the Americans, French who did side with the Americans in 1776 and English who did a much better job with the Quebec issue after 1759 and First Nation overall than would the Americans.
On a different note.... How's your french?

Hi Joe Green . If you want the super arrow to become a reality you have to get yourself on National Tv. Hardly anyone knows about you and the super arrow. Even the wing commander of 4wing Cold Lake didn't know about it I until I told him. Until you do that there is absoulty no hope what so ever for the Super Arrow.

+Beaverworks Are you a real company capable of building such an aircraft or is this just a dream World company? Photo Shop will not build a real aircraft!

    • @jetsfan1498
      @jetsfan1498 8 років тому +3

Beaverworks is owned by Joe Green & Joe Green is an awesome designer. Joe Green's vision is awesome, we should build this now, there are other companies such as Bourdeaux Ind. competing for the design, other designs more advanced than this but Joe Green started it all, Arrow will fly, this current government will have no choice but to see that is the only best option for Canada.

Looks like the love child of the F-15SE and the MiG 1.44. In my opinion, it needs to be shrunken down a tad and the cockpit configuration needs to change. As for actual production, if you got the right engineers working, you could have Bombardier be the producer of it. If you feel lucky then go to the Avro Branch of Hawker Siddeley Canada. Chances are they'll turn down, but if you do get a contract, try and hire the guys who built the Harrier to help you out. Hope you see this Joe Green and the Beaverworks team, you've inspired me a lot. You better start producing the Super Arrow quickly, though, as the Canadian government will procure a replacement fighter for the CF-18 before the next Federal election.

first off ... those canards are only good up to mid mach 2 numbers ... and jet engines are only effective out to about mach 3.5 ... the sweep of the wings of the super arrow .. are too big ... and reduces lifty and flight time .. reducing the planes effectiveness ... and range ... also
and your video is 90% black ... so you never actually get to see your rendition any better ... and you only truly see it from the rear ... where all the greebling literally has little effect or benefit to the plane ... and the overall shape has a high observable aspect ... so it is not even as close to stealth as the original arrow ... was ...
try again ... and when you do a video do it in daylight ... so people can actually see what is there .. and not just a dark shadow vaguely plane shaped

    • @abcdodd

XB-70 Had HUGE Canards and flew more efficiently at mach 3.
Canards are employed to generate lift when on delta winged aircraft as the centre of lift creeps rearward the faster you fly.
