Basically each of the 25 longest songs on my computer is a Bruce live performance. Probably because he's the only one epic enough to take a song that he wrote 40 years ago and play it like it's the first time, like he still needs to win over his audience even though we all love him and always will.
Can we please get a tour where these two groups just play sets of Springsteen's more groovy jams: Blinded by the light, Kitty's Back, Incident on 57th, Rosalita, Spirit in the Night, New York City Serenade, Saint in the City. Really just all the greatest songs from his first two albums.
Everyday I open youtube and type bruce springsteen in the search bar and then go to the filter and click on today and hope for HQ videos of his concerts . Sometimes watching him preform is best part of my day.
I was there that evening, returning after 8 years since last time in Roskilde, thanks to Bruce. It was a good week, but this evening with Bruce and the E-street was definitely the peak of the week ^^
He´s coming to Ullevi next year, might not have the same stamina as in this concert (even tough he was 62 at Roskilde!), but i think it still would be great. Nothing compares to Roskilde tough, it is a experience in of itself, and with Bruce there it was Magic!
What it has come down to is, 40 yrs into his career, playing 6 festivals during a 130 venue, 15 month tour that sold out all over the world including 70,000 on up seats in some stadiums. Downhill? Rated #1 live artists, by far, yet again by RS this year. 3.5 hr show minimum, over 4 in Helsinki. Nebraska was 82, 85 came BitUSA tour which launched him internationally ...hasn't stopped since.

No words is big enough. No words can descripe this topclass performance. I have seen this video over and over so many times. Sometimes I cry watching this! Its magic. To watch the musicians smiling faces and to listen to this music. And they played for allmost 3 hours! WOOW Thats why they call him the Boss!

I was there with one of my friends. We started off pretty upset, because we´d missed The Roots (it´s a long story. I saw them 2 months later, so I can live with it). But from moment one it became one of, if not the biggest concert experience of my life. I´ve seen The Boss 6 times now, but nothing like this. The crowd were so pumped for it, even the teenagers who hadn´t even been born, when his biggest album´s came out. It was (for Bruce) a short set, that was only two hours, but man it was great. One or two songs from the latest album (which gave both me and my friend, who´d had quite a few beers on the way there, a chance to relieve ourselves), but apart from that it was classic after classic. I never thought I´d hear this one live (the album is my all time Bruce favorite), so I just went crazy dancing with a bunch of girls down there, while they were playing it, I was so happy!

To watch E Street and The Roots at the same stage during one day was fucking intense. But watching E Street AND The Roots on stage as ONE band gave me an indescribable fucking spectacular feeling that i'll never feel again.
The roots are about to be the house band on the tonight show, millions of albums sold, decades of great concerts. If you don't know who the roots are that's your own ignorance. They ate both great bands who have mutual respect as artists and wished to make music together.
