Thank you! I'm living in Trumpland, i miss curry sauce with me chips!
I think its missing coconut. My favorite takeaway was chinese chicken & mushroom curry, unfortunately i now live on the other side of this world. My wife will tell you how many different sauces I've tried in the last 17 years. Attempting to replicate it. Two packet sauces I've found to be tge best are goldfish, which I ordered from uk and mailed to oz. Yes im obsessed. The other a trip back to blightly in 2014 and a tesco curry sauce. Aldi briefly sold a dry mix which was good. I even paid £75 just on postage for some eastern star curry powder, and yes if made a difference to standard curry powders. Ps. Heading back for a holiday next year 95% of my holiday is food based lol. Basically £5000 for curry.
Brilliant. Keep em coming chef. Love your content. 😊
Thanks mate
Thanks Chef,
Great Curry sauce

Sounds bluddy yummy and straightforward to knock up unlike other recipes, cheers
our lass is obsessed with chinese curry sauce. if i made this she probably wouldn't try it.. she is funny like that ...... up the boro
Don't tell her you made it till after she eats it. Or just eat it in front of her and she will try to steal it from you
Is she still yer lass
Looks nice! I live on the other side of the channel so I don't have easy access to this. I'm really happy to have a recipe for it now, thanks!

Naw it's rubbish compared to my old takeaway.
Howay that looks fooken great man.
Liked and saved to playlist for use later thank you so much chef :)
Yummy definitely give this a go .
Well I know what I am having for tea!!
I've just learned I'm gluten intolerant so I now need to make this myself with cornflour instead of buying it.
Thanks for this, I'm looking forward to trying it.
@@reloadpsi make sure you use gluten free soy sauce mate
Thank you for sharing this
Try a desert spoon of tomato sauce in it its a game changer
corn starch slurry is coincidentally the name of one of my cats. the other is called jeremy corbyn.
love this
Bloody nice this; I made it as you did, bit less cornflour. Luverly grub, thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Thanks for the feedback
FFS. How many ingredients.
Ooh ya bugga!
MSG is NOT optional. new sub tho nice work.
Mayflower curry sauce for quick option. B and M £1.29
Katsu! 🤘😎
MSG affects how our taste receptors perceive flavors, enhancing the savory taste in foods rather than directly changing the food itself.
Hence it works like a drug.
Thanks
Thank you so much ❤❤❤
@@TheTeessideChef Thank you. I'm a coeliac so I can't have Chinese curry sauce because of the wheat flour but I can have this one with the cornflour 👍😋
@@kristinajendesen7111 Hi. I'm sure you know this already but please use a wheat free soy sauce x
@@TheTeessideChef Oh yes. I have wheat free Worcestershire sauce too. What I do miss is some nice bread. I used to roll my chips up in buttered bread pre diagnosis(real butter) and dip it in the Chinese curry sauce. Heavenly combination.
What do you say at the end? Ta-rah?
Yeah. It means goodbye
I just used chicken gravy granules rather than cornstarch and chicken stock.
vector lmao
Too much bloody 5 spice Chinese style 👎🏾it’s terribly strong and takes over the good taste! Bad boy aren’t you?
@@matthewbanno3407 I think you'd prefer my chip shop curry sauce mate. Much mulder
Sorry mate this is so wrong it hurts. Just please watch this back and catch on to the mistakes you made in your own recipe.
If it tastes good it can't be wrong. Don't be a sad little person who get's upset about food.
@bastrioticfaux. Muppet!! Get a life!
I’ve just made this and it’s gorgeous.
Go leave your stupid comments elsewhere.
What’s wrong with the recipe? What mistakes? Or are you just here to criticize? Did you try the recipe? Or this is not how you make it, so it has to be wrong!
Fine, so you wont be making it then. Your loss, sad little person
Does not look like curry sauce at all. It is way to dark looks like chocolate does not look appropriate
Far too many ingredients. Who is going to go out and buy all that. Let alone the time to make it.
I did the same 6 years ago, I pulled out to late and now a slag from gravesend is claiming child maintenance from my benefits money, it’s a sad situation
