HE IS SO KIND AND PATIENT AND UNBELIEVABLY PROFESSIONAL....HE HAS HEARD THESE ASININE QUESTIONS 4.7 TRILLION TIMES IN THE COURSE OF HIS JAMES BOND CAREER.......IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE THAT THESE INTERVIEWERS ARE NOT CAPABLE OF ASKING BURNING AND INTERESTING QUESTIONS.
Do you think any actor sits through "reaction shots" today?! Nothing against Bobbie at all, she's just doing her job professionally and getting coverage for editing at that time. She's a pro, but he was the most magnificent Englishman that ever happened! He's ridiculously handsome, endlessly humble, and of course he speaks Italian on the side! He was so lovely.
A class act person! Very charming and nice man. I know his Bond films went too over the top but I love them for what they are. You could tell he had a lot of fun in the role.
It was a different time, and Bobbie is getting responses they can use clips from on the news. The footage is awkward because it’s raw and unedited, but this is pretty normal for interview footage. Bobbie is a legend in her field and very well respected by actors and directors, as well as other journalists.
Pity he did not reach 90 he was only 5 months of it. there was something sentimental about Roger Moore playing double 007 James Bond i always got that vibe anyway i have no doubt he's in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ hope your having a great time up there Roger. Kind regards take care God Bless John from Tipperary in Ireland
Roger Moore - class act and for me the first and only true Bond. ( I was too young for Sean Connery). I also liked George Lazenby and wish he would come back after Roger Moore has quitted.
Sir Roger Moore..such a tremendous class act..the most beautiful person inside and outside...I almost cry every time I see his pics...RIP Sir Roger....
Roger was a Great Man, Great Actor and very charming I know questions back then were a little silly Roger played the character of Bond with a little tongue in cheek Although I was too young to watch The Saint first time round I’ve watch the series over many years on TV in England Roger lived a long life and it’s great we have videos like this of historical interest
That done me in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 Sean Connery is a f#*#*t. It's just as well they were good friends. What a great personality you were Roger Moore.....Sadly missed.
My late grandma was a massive fan of Roger especially from the Saint, my favourite Roger bond movie is octopussy have even got the annual, all the best Paul 😁
Yes, this is a true treasure to find. Lots of stories "in the moment" from that time. I had to laugh when he said, "I think Sean Connery is a faggot." Just a wonderful class act who didn't take himself too seriously. God bless him!
Urbane, witty, funny, endlessly self-deprecating…he was a lovely man (as further endorsed by his wonderful charity work in his later years). Shame about the rather dull-witted and stone-dead dull questions bowled at him - I can’t see Sean remaining that patient and charming (and no-one would blame him)!!
With so many other things to inquire and asked but nope, just mundane silly questions that have been asked 10,000 times, what a terrific sport he was here. I deeply admire Mr Moore and love the man when I discovered that in his latter years he poured his heart and soul to feed the hungry as UNICEF’s representative by going himself to all 3rd world countries to deliver the goods, this man had a pure heart and a warrior spirit, forever in my thoughts, rest easy Sir Roger you are an angel in Heaven. 💐
Oh oui mademoiselle Elisabeth, une charmante actrice charismatique et un être humain encore meilleur. Cet homme merveilleux me manque , il a certainement laissé sa marque.
I don't know why it took him so long to say if Octopussy had anything distinctive from other Bond movies. Octopussy is probably the craziest Bond movie ever made.
He is a cool gent ❤ I love his Bond films because he is lighthearted and good natured…He plays quite a good Villain too (Alias). I would have loved them to do some film together 🎊
He was still humerous though he looked old at that point. His eloquence and vivacity are highly appreciated. Though Octopussy wasn't popular, he worked extremely hard on every part of his films.
The setting, hair style, glasses and brown suit makes him look 20 years older than he did in the movie. But it is striking looking back at this interview and realise that he would be starring in one more movie as James Bond.
I'm not sure actors today would be allowed to be this honest about a film that is just coming out that they are starring in. Especially when answering the question about what is distinctive about Octopussy 11:23
I appreciate him even more now after seeing these interviews. He was so effortlessly witty and likeable.
I met him in person many moons ago. He was a charming, affable man. A genuine class act.
Nobody did it better than Sir Roger Moore

Indeed he was! He was a class act borderline perfection & truly one of a kind, or rather; “you’re right, We are two of a kind” (octopussy)
Rogers conversation at the end for Bobbie's reaction shots is priceless! He was such a messer!
A class act person! Very charming and nice man. I know his Bond films went too over the top but I love them for what they are. You could tell he had a lot of fun in the role.
You’re Absolutely right David
I guess Im kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good site to watch new tv shows online?
@Emmett Roberto Flixportal xD
@Dakari Merrick Thanks, I went there and it seems to work =) I really appreciate it !!
@Emmett Roberto Glad I could help xD
Roger. The most handsome james bond..elegant..funny..
Loved the guy. Rest In Peace, Sir Rog.
What a pleasant personality, soft-spoken, VERY SMART, Rest in Peace, MR. BOND ( SIR ROGER MORE ).
This man was tremendously intelligent and quick-witted.
Thanks for the footage. 👍
What a good sport for dealing with these silly questions.

I remember he said 40 years ago quoted in the newspaper.
" No Moore Bond after Octopussy.
" This filem was painstakingly made".
grandissimo Roger Moore....
That done me in. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 Sean Connery is a f#*#*t. It's just as well they were good friends. What a great personality you were Roger Moore.....Sadly missed.
It is funny Roger Moore looks younger here than in the film Octopussy
My late grandma was a massive fan of Roger especially from the Saint, my favourite Roger bond movie is octopussy have even got the annual, all the best Paul 😁
I'm pretty sure Roger was half-pissed here, but it was still a great interview. Clearly a lovely man.
He funded apartheid.
Brilliant chat

Agreed. I get second-hand embarassment whenever I see this woman's interviews. She crosses every single boundary and gets away with it.
He would live another 30+ years from this point. Rip sir roger
Yes, very good effort considering how many cigars he used to smoke.
@@johnt7630 yeah. He inhaled them. Plus the daily drinking

She asked some really moronic questions, but as always Mr Moore handled it like the true gentleman he always was.
Merveilleux Roger Moore ! Je l'aime depuis si longtemps. Il me manque tant. RiP Sir Roger

*mind blown*
Ye honest guy
Roger Moore. Such a good sport.
La classe.
Roger Moore they best bond
That was classic!
What a shocking interview.. So awkward
He was still humerous though he looked old at that point. His eloquence and vivacity are highly appreciated. Though Octopussy wasn't popular, he worked extremely hard on every part of his films.
He was! Found out he was 60 when 'A View To A Kill' came out.

Roger played 007 till He was 58...which is amazing and will Never Again! Rip Roger Moore my favorite Bond and wonderful underrated actor !

20:09 one point in favor of Moore over Connery as best Bond
I’ve always favored Moore over Connery as Bond. His adorable personality & wittiness was the perfect mixture IMO.
This interviewer was awful tho!!
He was the best Roger Moore.
I couldn't decide if I liked Officer and a Gentleman either....
GOD SPEED SIR ROGER MOORE
I KNOW HIS CHILDREN MISS THERE FATHER'
Why is this not edited? Roger Moore is wonderful but this needs to be edited.
nice find sherlock
You’re seeing raw video, this is taken from archives, before it was edited for TV.
You can almost smell the cigarettes and booze in the room. Roger Moore seems like he has jet lag, he keeps it together well though.
Most nosey interviewer on Earth. "So why is Sean making another one?"
I know it was not easygoing making octopussy
Who are the rude people in the back? Terribly disrespectful!
He reminds me of Daniel Craig
Yes.
A bit disappointing that he used that word but all the same he's my favorite bond.
..puss puss....
It was all in jest maximillian. He was indeed a wonderful man in real life.
