What a fantastic interview! Both Moore and Ross were funny, lots of respect between them. I bet Jonathan Ross wanted to be Lord Brett Sinclair when he was a kid.
If you have read the Fleming novels, ole Rog was closest to the protagonist physically. My fave Bond.

No, I'm afraid that's incorrect. As Jonathan Ross himself says in this clip, Roger was about to turn 81 a week later, which means it must've been filmed in October 2008.
However, Roger sadly died of lung cancer on May 23rd 2017, so he would've been 89 years old at the time of his death.
His gravesite is in Monaco, where he lived for many years.

We still have Michael Caine, another fine gentleman and faithful friend of Sir Roger.
