Henry brought millions of these people into a more modern society and made their lives easier and made lots of money doing it. He was on top of the world. He had no visions of going 300 mph in a standing mile. Just as I have no idea what technology could be out there for massive acceleration for the next 100 years.

    • @BazzukaJoe101
      @BazzukaJoe101 4 роки тому +2

      What’s wonderful about aerodynamics is it scales pretty much perfectly until you hit about Mach 0.8 (a bit less than the speed of sound). What does change is how the car sits at different speeds and the change in airflow due to it. So it’s more a testament of how well the car is set up because the car has long been established as a good aero package.

    • @scottmcgregor2757

      Scott Mcgregor Well, the overall look of the car is basically the same the OG GT40, but it is NOT 60s aero. This GT has a floor pan and a splitter in the back, which is the main improvement that gives it less drag and more stability. The top of the car is also massively optimized.

      @Valkyrie 007 the Bugatti is a second generation, untold millions in development, all wheel drive, more cylinders/turbos, traction control, et cetera. One has an entire factory and billions of dollars behind it, the other has a small team of people who love cars.
      Anyone can drive the Bugatti fast, only requirement is your bank balance.
      The Ford is a driver’s car, one needs SKILL to drive this car.
      The Bugatti is at its top speed, the Ford is not.
      To me, what the GT team did is far more impressive, because the Bugatti team built upon the more than a decade of factory work developing the Veyron and then learning from it. Multimillion dollar sales tag, and plenty of return from those customers (paid off much of the R&D/tooling costs).

    • @Kenneth45
      @Kenneth45 4 роки тому

      @BTICronox And where are these reliability statistics? How many Bugatti's have been driven to hundreds of thousands of miles without a motor or transmission rebuild? You do realize that most of these exotic European super cars are not reliable cars right? You're not paying for the car, you're paying for the brand and the status symbols that they are. For 2 million dollars without the fancy name you can definitely build a faster car that can be driven on the road daily without issues.
