I bought my 19’ 1794 brand new, (pre-pandemic) I’m so glad i did! .. been a great truck so far, zero complaints.
At the time I knew Toyota was going to dump the V8.. so I’m like, it’s now or never, I bought it… I love it!
I’m keeping it till the wheels fall off. …. Subscribed 👍

i have 2008 sequoia 3UR-FE with 603,483 miles on it as of july 2022. the only 2 things i had to replace were the waterpump and head gasket. if you keep up with oil changes, transmission fluid changes, annual tune ups, and every 5 years flush out fluids like brake fluid, power stereing fluid, antifreeze coolants, the 3UR-FE will probably last more than 1 million miles. 3UR-FE IS LITERALLY BULLETPROOF

As far as I know, the locking tailgate is not an OEM Toyota part. There are companies that make them (I have one installed DIY), but Toyota doesn't do that from the factory. If anything, it might be a dealer-installed part and given it's only a $100 part that taps into the lock wires, it might have lived its life. I believe it's called PopNLock.
    Thanks and nice review!

I just bought a 2019 Toyota Certified TRD PRO Crew replacing a 2016 Tundra 1794 Crew. Not sure why but getting 15.5 mpg overall compared to previous 12.7. I don't understand because TRD has more power with catback dual exhaust. 5.7 liters of love ! Test drove a Chevy Trail Boss....looked great.....ran back to Toyota!!!!
