Another great lesson, Mike! This might be way too obscure for a lesson, but there's a song called "Can't Shake Loose" by Agnetha Fältskog (the blonde singer from ABBA) that I think you'd like a lot. It's got some great rhythm chugging, slides, and double stop leads. I'd love to see a lesson on it, but if it's too obscure, I'd love to see some ABBA lessons (maybe "Tiger", "The Winner Takes It All", heck ANYthing). They were one of the few bands even my metal only pals actually liked. Thanks!

IRONY! Chappers posted a vid earlier about how vocalist often use the same notes consistently during a song and for a guitar player to follow the vocal line, they have to do the same. Good example of that with this tune!

This is the best version of this song cover on YT. I checked the others out and they are really lacking! No soul or groove in them.

If it sounds good, it is good!!! Plus, singing lead and playing only guitar in a bans requires simplified. A real tough one for me is playing and singing Crazy Train - Ozzy. Unless one is willing to sing a lounge lizard version of it. The timing of the chops and words are just aaargghh!!
