thanks for the tips! watching your vlogs and tips videos has helped me a lot in this process so far. i got the interview, and i am going to prepare my best!!
@_autumnmatic thank you so much!! I already did my interview two days ago with atlanta, I'm so nervous but excited cause I think I did fairly well! gotta work on saving up now I guess ^^
To be honest! I’ve read stories of certified teachers not making it into the program. When it comes to that it’s an toss up. I think if you focus hard on why you want to come and perfecting your application, anyone has a shot!
@@_autumnmatic thank you for your response. I feel after watching your video I have more or less an idea of what to expect for next September when I try to apply. Do they help you with how to get to work? I feel that’s my biggest worry because when I went to visit my fiancé I felt overwhelmed with how many gates for trains they are 😅
@@XxorangebunnyxX it really depends on your schools location and your BOE or contracting organization. You could get a car but I think some city’s prohibit teachers driving to school if they live in the city. It sounds cliche but every Situation varies depending on where you are placed.
Thank you so much for all your advice; it's really helpful! I have a question: What's the best way to deal with your hands; do you keep them in your lap the whole time or can you make small gestures every now and then?
hello fellow autumn! :) i have a question on what you mentioned about the environment/background. i have a cutesy pink room with some figures and knick-knacks visible in the background. i have a blur filter on my webcam that makes it less distracting, but is that still a big no-no in your opinion? i don't have a laptop and my computer is in my room so i'd love to ideally take the interview in my room, but if it's a really big deal i want to be prepared to adjust things/borrow a laptop.
Hi! First off thanks for watching. In my opinion, I would temporarily remove as much as you can. Put them somewhere outside of the shot of the camera and I would definitely use the blur filter if there are wall hangings you can’t take down. I don’t think any of this would truly affect your interview process but I completely want YOU to be the main focus in the interview and not your background. Hopefully this helps! Good luck on your interview.
Okay perfect! I thought maybe I was kinda crazy for thinking about wearing a full suit for a zoom interview so this is really helpful
Wear the suit! It totally helps your confidence too!!!
@@_autumnmatic I agree!! I felt really good when I was trying it on
Thank you for the tips! It was really helpful to find someone talking about the VIRTUAL interview!
Thanks for watching! That’s why I made it. It’s a little different from the in person ones!
Thank you for this. Yes, please do a video about your questions.
I will do it!!! Thanks for watching
🙏 Thanks so much for making this video.
@@NnamdiAnyanwu95 you’re welcome ☺️
I won't even be applying for another year and a half (have to finish my degree first) but this is great to know!
Yes, thank you for watching! I will upload more about the program soon

This video was super helpful!!! ありがとうございます!
Ahhhhh thanks for watching!
I like your personality ❤
Also as a teacher would you think that would help me out and have more of a chance ?

@@_autumnmatic thank you again. I appreciate you! I guess we’ll have to see. My goal is to be in Kobe but we will see.

I have a question: What's the best way to deal with your hands; do you keep them in your lap the whole time or can you make small gestures every now and then?
Personally I think I kept my hands down but I don’t really think it would matter as long as you are personable!
