I'm literally six minutes into watching this video and I'm absorbing all of the information with ease. Great teachers are heaven sent to their students!
Seriously thank you for this video . I'm dyslexic and I usually learn better when others read to me and you pretty much went over my whole section of the book on blood!!! Thank you !!
I guess im randomly asking but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Colten Colson thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
There are many factors in learning anatomy. One place I discovered that successfully combines these is the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (check it out on google) definately the most helpful info that I've seen. look at this great resource.
the best success that ive had was by using the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (i found it on google) definately the most incredible info that I have ever tried.
hi guys, the best results that I have ever had was by following the Anatomy Blueprint Pro (i found it on google) definately the no.1 course that I have ever tried.
It's very interesting. Clear and comprehensive with affective, pleasant voice of presentation. I watched and listened from beginning to ending, reluctant to miss any points of this lesson.
This video made me understand blood so much better than reading it in my text book. I have a test tomorrow on blood functions and types and am now confident I will ace this test! Thank You and wish me luck!
By the way, mammalian blood is red because we use iron for oxygen transport. Iron becomes red when in contact with oxygen: Rust. Many Arthropods, like Horseshoe crabs use copper for oxygen transport, copper turns blue in contact with oxygen, so Horseshoe crabs have blue blood.
You definitely help me with studying !!! Wish I had you as my teacher. Thank you so much for making these videos ! It is 5am and my test in 2 hours. Aaaahhhhh
we are in Sept 2024, and I am new to science, I watched the video, without feeling that time was running fast, more than a good explanation. Thank you for making people like me enjoy learning anatomy and physiology.
Good lesson in simplicity, teaching myself with the spirit now, freely given , I don't need to attend or buy for having my own mind corrected in truth , how awesome it is guys, that why I drop out circular education... And now instructed my will in the Earth is my obejective for all..
People can be pathetically rude in YT... "I understand your monetizing schemes" This guy is taking the time to give us a lecture in hematology, God knows he could be doing other things and get pay for them. Appreciate that! A video is not going to make a difference in whether you pass your anatomy class or not; your attitude might. Thanks for the video Mr. By the way, you sound like the guy from Ninja Nerd Science.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you. God bless you. 😊Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 😊
Great vid. I'm reading the manga "Cells at work" and before I knew that blood is only made of leukocytes, erythrocytes and thrombocytes. What else does human blood need? In this manga I've known about neutrophils, macrophages, Helper/Killer T cells etc and your video gave me a more systematic look at it.
My APII online professor just put together slides for our "lecture". It's hard to retain information and understand the information. I stumbled upon this video to help understand this section and I enjoyed this video alot! Gained alot of knowledge that hopefully will help me with my course. Looking forward to watching other videos for APII
hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to discover how to study for human anatomy try Anatomy Blueprint Pro (just google it ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
" One cannot function efficiently without knowledge of their own physiology" - Alfred Korzybski I'm here because of that quote which lead me to a "resurrections" if you will-- my body wasn't converting it's blood glucose into energy. So I took alpha lipoic acid and omg I woke up from debilitating lethargy.
Good video I enjoyed it. The blood does not transport waste and toxins. Toxins and waste are Very acidic, as you stated if blood of goes below 7.2 ish then you would die, waste and toxins are carried to the kidneys etc through the lymphatic system.
it also carries urea to the kidneys, water (as a waste product) to the lungs and kidneys. There are waste products in the bloodstream, there are also processes in place which remove it at a rate which keeps the blood ph at 7.4. Lungs, kidneys, liver, intestines
11:36 I have a question: Is the life span of an RBC taken on an average? I've been studying from Gyton and Lippincott, they mention the life span of an RBC as 3 months or 120 days while you say it is 4 months. Does it imply than an extra 30 days are needed to get old blood cells out of the blood stream? I'm new to biology with an engineering degree so I'm taking a lot of time to gain as much concept as I can before I major in molecular biology.

Good video I enjoyed it. The blood does not transport waste and toxins. Toxins and waste are Very acidic, as you stated if blood of goes below 7.2 ish then you would die, waste and toxins are carried to the kidneys etc through the lymphatic system.
Technically it does with carbon dioxide which is a waste product.
it also carries urea to the kidneys, water (as a waste product) to the lungs and kidneys. There are waste products in the bloodstream, there are also processes in place which remove it at a rate which keeps the blood ph at 7.4. Lungs, kidneys, liver, intestines

I'm new to biology with an engineering degree so I'm taking a lot of time to gain as much concept as I can before I major in molecular biology.
120 days is 4 months so I'm not sure where the 3 months come in at unless it is referring to range.
