Madchild’s baby was his puppy, Lola, he had to put to sleep. She was his “only gang” and even though it is of course not as horrific as losing a human child, it can cause significant grief for some people, especially for an extra special pet family member and if you’re already struggling with other mental health issues.

After about 20 years of abusing alcohol and just about every drug there is. I got sober and stayed sober for 18 years, things got very hard, caring for my terminal mother for a couple years as she got worse & worse. When I drank that first bottle of vodka it took no time at all to get much worse than it was after 20 years of going hard. I am very lucky I was able to get sober again after almost 3 years and near death. Been sober about 14 years this time. All credit to God and the 12 steps.
