That is not a good decision. As a forner division 1 college football player, we are already registered for spring semester/winter quarter classes during national title game. And if you are on quarter system, you have already started winter quarter classes. This means that a transfer student may miss winter conditioning and spring ball at their new college if the portal did not open until jan 21st.
