Thanks so much, Mike, for your clips. I'm a voice actor and just learning Adobe Audition. Your videos are helping both my audio engineer and me!

Love to hear that! Just as an FYI, I made a class last year on Domestika, that is very affordable and is the class I wish I had when I first started learning Audition for my podcast in 2015. Just in case you wanted to check it out, here is the link:

Hi Mike, great tutorial! My user case is unique. We Sometimes have to record hundreds of very short IVR files. I'm very used to protools but want to migrate to Audition. In Protools, you can name each individual file in a track (which you can also do in AU), but then I can export all the files (sometimes upwards of 400) as their own independent file that's already named (so... 400+ unique files with the filenames given while in the track they were recorded in. Is this possible in Audition? Can I record hundreds of files in one track, name them and then export them as individual files? I haven't been able to find info on this. Thanks!

      Hey there!
Unfortunately, my first inclination is this will not be possible in Audition, but this is off the top of my head. Let me do a little testing and digging around in Audition in the next day or so and I'll let you know what I discover. 👍

If the clips are alrady separated on the same track (but edited or processed), can still be saved as separated files? The problem with your lesson is that one track is one file, right? what if I have 5 different clips on the same track? are they going to be always merged as one only clip?

Due to the nature of Multitrack editing, if you are wanting to export individual clips that are on the same track, you will drop the clips down on their own tracks and keep the timing how you want them to play on the entire Multitrack. Then just export the entire session as individual tracks of that is what the end goal is.
