- My Korean parents try Popeyes for the first time. We ordered spicy chicken sandwich, sweet ’n spicy wings, mac ’n cheese, coleslaw, biscuits, strawberry biscuits, coke and regular fried chicken for hubby.
They loved it and said it had distinctive flavors compared to other fast food chicken chains.
FYI, It was a small place and we were sitting right by the entrance where a lot of people were lined up so mom and dad were trying to be not too noisy. Hence the quiet bussin and fiyah. 😂

Dad randomly adding other food to his sandwich is the best old man thing I’ve seen in a long time! That chicken bone cleaning was epic!
I went in to a location one day and ask them to put my mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese on my sandwich dam it was delicious

As a resident of New Orleans I love that you parents love Popeyes, but you've gotta get them the right order.
3 PC mixed (Breadt,2 thighs) must be spicy with red beans and dirty rice.
They removed the dirty rice from the menu at all my local locations. And they added macaroni and cheese - which is NOT good at all.

Your dad cracks me up with his Cookie Monster growls while eating 😂 That lets me know hes enjoying himself. We should all be so happy while enjoying a meal with family. Your mom is super adorable and I love how she mixes the sauces. I never thought about putting Mardi Gras mustard on my chicken sandwich and with the sweet heat sauce!?! Best mashed potatoes and the Cajun gravy YUMMY 😋!! The biscuits are my favorite too!
I don't even mess around. I break the biscuit in half and top each half with mashed potatoes and gravy. Drives my husband crazy but I'd rather have that than the chicken.

I personally like the regular chicken sandwich where I then add the louisiana hot sauce on the chicken first, 2ish packets then I’ll add a thin drizzle of the honey on top of the hot sauce. Close it back up, and chef’s kiss.
