I like just about everything from Delbert McClinton, the guy who taught John Lennon how to play the harmonica when he toured the UK with Bruce Channel of 'Hey Baby!' fame, and who had the Beatles as an opening act. Check out the harmonica on Bruce's song and see the similarity.

I should have known better was one of the last Beatle songs in which harmonica was used because it was becoming too much of a signature. They wanted to keep their sound fresh and not stale.

This is important. I'm sure that, if they had kept employing harmonica on their recordings, listeners would have started to think: that harmonica bit is getting pretty old. Part of the miracle of The Beatles was that they always knew when a particular sound or approach had run its course: they would become tired of it before the audience could.

Dylan turned them from a boyband.

Dylan is (in my opinion) 'overrated'!
