That GU is one sweet truck, love the setup as well. Just a bit surprised at it not having a roll cage...just in case yeah...would hate to see her roll but it does happen.
Two questions: How come you did not get a front locker and if the kitchen is on the far side, why did you choose to put the fridge on the driver's side?
Awesome rig, but definitely a good point about the fridge on the opposite side of the food prep. I'm guesssing it's prob got a front locker prob just forgot to mention it.
because you load up the drivers side of any set up with things you use most. He'd be in that fridge 5 or 6 times a day while he is on the move and it saves him from walking around the other side of the truck
Get a 12mm pump,, seriously makes it a different and far more efficient car. Absolutely my best move was the pump. Anyone with a Td42ti this pump and you will fall in love with your beast all over again.
All the gas struts (apart from the Toyota bonnet) have been installed upside down. The shiny bit should always be mounted at the bottom to aid in lubrication, prevent drying out of the seals and provide extra damping at the end of the stroke. Amateur mistake.
Hey graham you have that cannopy on what looks like a light duty aluminum tray....... did that serve u well. Im on budget and need a light weight tray for my cannopy but am abit worried about whether or not a tray like that would hold up to the tracks/ weight etc. Appreciate ya feed back. Cheers dave. 🤙

Graham what Hf network you running on and what brand Hf are you running. I’m running the codan 9323 with codan 9350 auto tune antenna. Love the codan and the reliability I have out of it. What Hf network do you run. I’ve been on a few different networks and clubs but haven’t had much with any of them. Cheers
Bunnings and he’s absolutely right I got 6 draws today for about $150 bucks holds all the pots pans and kitchen first aid etc and don’t take up a lot of space it’s a great idea
am I doing my math right....... he gets 3400 to 3600 miles on fully loaded fuel tanks? 225 litres = 60 gallons and 60 miles per gallon average fuel consumption would make that fuel range plausible. That's crazy range.

For what he uses the gu for it isn't likely to roll not super high up and he just uses it more for touring from what I can tell

They are cheap $25 a pair, I found out they close softly up side down, done it this way on my tool boxes not on cars,

pretty similar overall the best thign about gu is the injector pump which is boost referenced means you can run more fuel and boost on a gu
