      might help if you watch in HD. otherwise, idk, not his fault if you have poor vision.

    If you want to change the speed of how the particles move
    1. Go under the Physics Tab
    2. Locate "Velocity"
    3. Lower that number to a number lower than what it already is (i.e. 0.5)

    HERE IS HOW TO DO IF YOU DON"T SEE THE PARTICLES When you've got the background, instead of creating a solid and dragging the effect into it, you have to create a new EFFECT LAYER, then you can drag the effect in the right to this layer and it will appear. I know the video is old but maybe it can still help people !

    • @christiankiggins355
      @christiankiggins355 4 роки тому +1

      Mine doesn’t work :( even if I use an adjustment later (which is what I presumed you mean be Effect Layer)

    • @Ratuono
      @Ratuono 4 роки тому +5

      to me they're just too small like the sphere that contain these particles is too small and when I try to resize them they keep being small af, making it lose the particles quality

    • @chriscollinson1696

      You can also move the timeline forward a little bit. Frame 0, you won't see the particles.

  • @alejob5325
    @alejob5325 3 роки тому +7

    Solution if you dont see those particles:
    - Create and adjustment layer and add cc particle world effect to it, instead of a Solid Layer.
    - Move the timeline forward a little bit to see the particles
    - Your welcome

    • @vanillastars7444

      I have no clue if you still need an answer 3 years later haha, but I've found that cranking up the resistance (under gravity) helps them slow down! I have it at 20 and that brought the pace to what I was looking for! I hope this helps, either you or anyone else who stumbles across this video :)

      Just move the CTI (current time indicator) down the timeline a bit. CC particle world is a particle generator so it needs time to generate some particles. Your screen shot shows the CTI at frame 0.
