I don't think there is competition between who is right and who is wrong. It is probably a matter about the last is the first and the first is the last. We all will learn. My wife turned left, following with certainty the Holy Ghost Prompting. Down the road she was broad-sided and the car ended up totaled, and luckily no one was hurt severely. But sometimes some people do end up hurt more. Ironically, a day prior, she had spilled a Large Container of Coke and in response I said that it will probably best if there was a way to get rid of the car some how because cleaning that coke was likely impossible or very difficult. Was God involved, or am I independently so powerful that I called upon ourselves this accident and therefore inadvertently that the car would be totaled? Or was it all coincident, and where was or fits the Holy Ghost here? ... just an example to ponder about. Or, I prayed for assistance with difficult renters regarding a repair dispute, which just 2 days later the sewer line was clogged ...by a too big of an object and it clogged and backed up all S... and the renters lost their home within 30 minutes - no insurance for them, and my insurance ended up paying 50% of actual cost - I lost my renters for over a year, etc... What is the lesson to learn? Was it punishment, or God's divine blessing? Thanks for your comment, and God bless!

As the creator of this UA-cam channel, I completely agree. This has been my greatest concern when reviewing the comments daily. Many people seem to praise the Prophet and the Apostles more than they do our Savior, Jesus Christ. This week, we’ve been focusing on prophets and their role in the plan of salvation. A true prophet, when speaking truth, will always direct us to Christ and invite us to follow Him. A true prophet will never ask us to follow them. As it says in 2 Nephi 25:26, 'And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
Gods spirit showed me that he lives, that true life is in him, and that the Missionaries are his acceptable servants. By this I know the whole Church is true. From the Missionaries to the first Presidency, no one in the Church has failed me in the least. But they have never failed to give me some piece of direction, light and understanding. That said, I know by his spirit that he lives. But I'm not perfect either. Yet I know God by his knowing of me. In so doing, he didn't fault me for my imperfections. He only bade me by the encouragement of his Missionaries, to repent and be baptized in keeping with the divinity of his spirit and in grace or the following of reason. So that God gave me a testimony is testimonial to the fact that one needn't be perfect to speak of God in truth. To say otherwise is a lie and anti Christ. Our servants or Gods servants have my full support and confidence. So as God loved me, love I them. And when you love someone, it doesn't matter what evil is spoken of them. You keep them tightly as if to cleave.
Nelson has the keys and no doubt lived a great life and helped many, but he is a man, and can be wrong. He is a doctor by trade, a man who grew up trusting the medical system and trying to improve it, and gave him a wonderful life of wealth and happiness. It is no surprise to any that he would go for the jab as his personal experience is that the medical system is very good. That's the culture part brother Erekson was talking about. He has, since becoming president, urged us to seek personal revelation and visit the Temple constantly. Continued insistence on this could be considered prophetic counsel as he did not know that so many of us would need to rely on personal revelation and guidance of the Holy Spirit to avoid the very same thing that he himself recommended to us. I am glad I listened to God, and not to the learnings of men.
On the "culture" portion of your statement, I believe there is an assumption you are making that any cultural influence on a prophet must be improper, negative, or wrong. This isn't to deny that there aren't negative aspects of any culture, but to say all cultural influence on a prophet is bad just isn't accurate.
@@anonymouslife3777 we are all influenced to a certain extent by the culture and surroundings we were brought up in. Our families, our neighborhoods, our wards, work, school. It all influences us. The challenge is finding the Lord's will through it all.

President Nelson is unrepentant for having misled millions during Covid @“safe and effective”. He is the prophet; That event was just not very prophetic. But it was a good event because it taught that we need indeed the close companionship of the Holy Ghost. And so it was a great blessing. We need to become prophets each unto ourselves in verifying truth always with and through the Holy Ghost. I say trust in the Holy Ghost and none else. My conviction. I dont believe President Nelson misled anyone, with covid. He allowed us to have the choice, i listened to his council, prayed, and listened to my holy ghost
AND all of a sudden I perceive a forked tongue of double speak. BE BLINDLY OBEDIENT TO FALLIBLE MEN. OR REPENT FOR BEING DISOBEDIENT TO FALLIBLE MEN. What ever happened to USE YOUR GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST TO CONFIRM WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. THEN EXERCISE YOUR AGENCY. Seems like some leaders are concerned about their level of CONTROL AND PERSUASION than teaching true gospel principles.
We all have agency, as taught by our leaders. They don't control you or me, but your description aligns perfectly with Satan, not them. Please choose to stop yelling and listen to the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a source of truth, and with its assistance, you will no longer feel as though you are blind. The prophet has taught that you and I must live in a way that allows us to receive personal revelation. Our leaders are not perfect-no more than you or I are. Jesus Christ was the only person to walk this earth in perfection. Christ calls imperfect people to lead and teach His gospel, which we clearly see in the New Testament through those called to be apostles. Today, the words of the apostles invite us to follow Christ. May you and I choose each day to do just that. It can’t be forced; it is something we must willingly decide to do. Otherwise, we won’t grow to become more like our Savior, nor will we come to truly know how much He cares about each one of us.
President Nelson did not mislead millions during COVID. A test to see if you will follow the prophet even in the mist of possible death, is a true test indeed. Those that did so have been noted in Heaven.
I can't let this gaslighting take root on this important topic. Millions have tragically lost their lives, and possibly billions have been injured world wide. Even missionaries and those preparing to serve have had their lives cut short. No true prophet ever says, 'follow me,' but rather, 'follow Christ and live.' Your comments give the impression that you may not have watched this video in full, or perhaps need to watch it again. As Jesus said in John 10:27, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' True prophets always lead us to Christ.
Yes, our Prophet was obeying the laws of the land, people were blessed to obey our Prophet, personally I was prompted to not have it so I listened to that.❤❤
@@TheWordsofChrist Thank you for your wisdom and standing up to this madness. Nelson is a true prophet, but he is not Christ! He can be wrong and we already knew this from the teachings of Joseph Smith and yet even Christ himself!
We do not follow the Prophet. We follow Jesus Christ. We have been taught to always study it out and get confirmation of the Spirit and then ask God whenever a Leader speaks. Culture is traditions, habits, a way of doing things. This is not culture… this is the way of the Lord. President Hinckley has asked us when we join the Church to put our traditions away and follow the Lord.
This event among others was also prophesied in the Book of Mormon, and when this one event occurred, the guidance of the word of God became extremely helpful. The reasons behind this choice are clearly outlined in scripture, and I encourage everyone to study the scriptures daily. Doing so invites personal revelation and strengthens your understanding of the truths we face today. Moroni, who saw our day in vision, knew exactly the challenges we would encounter. He stated in Mormon 8:35: “Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing.” With this foreknowledge, Moroni provided us with a clear and straight path back to Christ, the source of all truth. There is so much more that could be said about this event, as well as the future planned events that are soon to come. However, this is a time of testing, and we must each seek personal revelation, as President Nelson has counseled. Many will choose to let God prevail in their lives, turning to Him rather than relying on the arm of flesh or the philosophies of men. As we do so, we will receive the strength and guidance needed to navigate these challenging times.
I heard they (the church) owns stock in pharmaceutical companies.😇. Wish they would have prophesied about what plague we were going to be faced with. All silent.
Please keep in mind that what I’m about to say should be taken with a grain of salt, as I don't speak for the Church or for the Lord Jesus Christ. Although my profile picture is of the Savior, which makes me uncomfortable, it also compels me to be more thoughtful and considerate in my response. The jab has indeed caused confusion within the Church, as many members share your perspective on the matter. It’s evident that a division has occurred within the Church’s wards and stakes. Members who chose not to take the jab are still looked down upon by some as failing to follow the prophet, while those who did are often viewed as having followed guidance. It’s worth noting that the Church's official vaccination policy in the general handbook did not change during COVID. Although a letter was sent to Church members, it did not alter the official vaccination policy. So, when you suggest that Church leaders instructed us to get the jab, I would argue that at most, they only suggested it, as the official policy remained unchanged. A close examination of the letter released to Church members, including its punctuation, raises more questions than it answers. Why issue any statement at all? President Nelson had previously warned that personal revelation would be essential to navigate the end times. No Church leader has instructed us to follow them blindly; instead, they provided us with the "Come Follow Me" manual, where "Me" refers to the Savior, not other men. I believe this approach is intentional. While some who received the jab appear fine, others have experienced severe adverse effects, including death within minutes or days. Given the adverse effects, the jab should have been withdrawn, but it was not. A careful reading of Section 89 of the Doctrine and Covenants might provide insights into the current situation. President Nelson advised taking vitamins during a General Conference prior to COVID. When I heard this, I felt a strong impression from the Spirit, and I knew that something significant was coming and that this counsel was meant to be followed. President Nelson has repeatedly emphasized the importance of seeking personal revelation. Why? This is a question each of us should take to the Lord and ask Him directly.
@@TheWordsofChrist not sure how to respond to that exactly. Wasn't aware of it. I have been inactive for a long time due to pain from trying too hard to do what is right. I've served in the military and grew up in the church. My greatest wounds to my soul came from being attacked by members of the church when I first tried to get married to a young lady in the church after serving in the military then a mission. The spirit told me to marry her. I asked her to marry. I was the happiest person on earth at that moment. Then her mother attacked her daughter again and again tried to actively break us up because I had served in the military. Until she broke it off with me. I was patient and I was kind every lie the church tells us will work. It ripped my soul in a way that I can only describe as drinking from the bitter cup. When I did temple work of producing names for the temple at my mother's insistence to help me heal. Page after page was people who bore her last name. I did it until I couldn't anymore. I went back to school met my ex wife. She claimed that she loved me and I married her because she wanted me. About 2 1/2 years later we sealed in the temple. The spirit said to me that "she is not Danica" my ex fiance. Again tearing a deeper hole in my soul. 2 1/2 years later my ex wife cheated on me with a disgusting old man.while I was in Iraq for a second time I had rejoined the military to serve her and provide her with medical care. I left the military because the spirit prompted me to leave and be a contractor. While I was in the military the only thing that I did that I can point to today that makes me happy and proud is on my first tour in Iraq and IED blew up on our convoy our medic was injured. I was in a tank. I was ordered to stop the vehicle. Which I did. The tank jerked when I stopped causing the gunner to miss and he hit a power line taking down power to 1/3 of Iraq. He was going to shoot a house. With that brief pause they decided to kick down the door instead. Inside were only women and children. I eventually became a contractor teaching Iraqis to use tanks. My ex-wife asked for a divorce she wanted to buy a car we didn't need and was developing an inappropriate relationship with a man from India the same as she did with her affair partner. I came home and filed for the divorce. I went on vacation and met my wife. While I was on vacation I met her and didn't plan on more than being nice to a girl whose sister introduced me to her. I was in a very dark place. The type to hurt someone else. The spirit told me to marry her. I actually refused because of my pain. I kept her as a friend. A way to pass the time. We got married in time and had our son. One year later my wife came to me about a lump in her breast it was breast cancer. She thankfully is recovering. But at the same time the whole world went insane with the exact same insanity my ex fiance's mother had had. But this time it was over a common cold that was genetically modified to have a higher chance of causing pneumonia. I was completely inactive at this point. Last time I went to church they were talking about service. Asking for more service. I have served enough. When I asked for service it was always for small things that I actually needed. Things like others to give me time to support and love me like I did with my ex fiance. To listen to me like I did with my ex wife. To come and meet my only begotten son. To be my wife's friend because she needed friends. My requests went unfulfilled. When I could barely walk when my wife was struggling with cancer. No one heard the spirit to help us except for my sister who was struggling with her faith. When I hear the church shut down in fear of a common cold because the church leaders were of the age bracket most likely to perish. When they didn't put any real effort into saving the saints from unnecessary fear. I say they went along with the jab. Because it fulfilled every requirement for the mark of the beast. COVID-19 was intentional. The design in the vaccine was to neuter people's ability to feel the spirit. Because spirituality causes people to become terrorists according to the logic. If I, a man who was busy and struggling with things of the soul could see what they couldn't. Why should I see them as prophets and apostles? Would it not be my duty to face them as Abinidi did the priests of king Noah. I had the feeling to give my son my priesthood. He's 6 he loves Godzilla. I don't talk to him about spiritual things I take him to the park to play while his mother is at Catholic mass. When I gave him my priesthood. He told me about how he had the power of God zilla and about rainbow God zilla and when I asked him about how he knew he had Godzillas power he said that God zillas ghost Came and gave it to him. My son is afraid of Daddy's evil brother. As far as I am concerned the gospel is true and the priesthood is still on the earth in the hands of a 6 year old kid.

I dont believe President Nelson misled anyone, with covid. He allowed us to have the choice, i listened to his council, prayed, and listened to my holy ghost
True. I still support President but that was a grave mistake similar to blacks and the priesthood
❤❤❤
Sure Prophets make mistakes, they are human. It would be most appropriate if Prophets, didn't lie.
@@matthewhessler3257 and those who followed their own personal revelation have been noted also.
No they aren't perfect but I do think they should have never participated in the implementation of the mark of the beast.
