Innovation in fly tying seems to be coming from Sweden 🇸🇪. Aggressive Predatory fish are the most fun to chase with a fly! Keep the videos coming Niklaus.
Pretty cool idea. Been trying to make spoon flies with different plastics lately, but this looks like a more convenient approach. Thanks again for another great pattern.
Yup. These are going to get tied for some Texas reds. I like the length compared to the traditional spoon style flys and the flexible resin idea. Long time lurker on the channel. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the great video. Where may I purchase these wave tails in different colors. I will fish them for smallmouth bass and panfish. Happy New Year to you.
An Awesome fly - thanks for sharing with us, I have a feeling this will be a hit with the bass when they’re feeding on baitfish. I just happen to have a couple sizes of Pacchiarini’s Wave Tails - can’t wait to tie a few and give them a swim. Always looking forward to your tying and fishing videos. (From the States).
Neat fly…bit like the spoon flies used for Redfish in the Southern US…I can imagine it has a good action in the water and should be effective for any minnow eating predator fish.
As simple as it looks deadly. I would just be stoked to try one of these at the river Rhine for Asp and Perch. I'll bet in slomo retrieve it'll catch Zander too 🎉
These would have worked great when we were up north last week for pike! Just placed my order for materials. Going to make a box of holo silver and holo black . I bet they would be the best option for an ad lib Alabama Rig for bass!
Awesome idea, definitely could see those working well for large mouth bass under marinas in the US. I assume you have a micro swivel somewhere in the leader. If not, please explain. Thanks, and great gulff-ing?!
Great tie and great fly. Reminds me of the old school silver spoons used for jigging walleye and striped bass. Have to give this a try on my vise. Thanks for sharing this with us.
nice! thanks for sharing, will definitely tie a few and test. For me it boarders the line between fishing with a spinning and fly fishing - kind of entering the space where I would try to protect the understanding of a traditional fly vs. lures I used when fishing with a spinning rod. Perhaps one could also add more material to it to make it look more like a traditional fly, like marabu or other fibers) but that will come with others trying to create their own flies using this as an inspiration. Well done.
Nice "Tie"😅 I have tied Spoon Flies, but I like how you used the different resins. I have only used Loon Flow on the ones that I have tied. I would love to win some of these🤞
What is the name of the wave tail holographic material , I live in the US and I can't find what you have , most of what I find is a type of foil . Do you have a brand name I can use to find it ? Great fly

Thanks man 😉
Simple flies are often the most productive. Great job
Has everything, good trigger point with the eye, fluttering action like an injured baitfish, even causes disturbance......great idea
I realy have to try these on German and Danish baltic seatrout... thanx!
Really a very good idea to make a pretend spoon for trout. Brilliant thanks for the demonstration.
Great idea Niklaus, thanks a lot for sharing.
This seems a very good idea for ASP in our river Elbe here in Hamburg. I will try this fly for sure. Thanks for showing. tight lines
Nice fly, good compliment in the flybox!

Great fly, could be something for big brown trout in Mjøsa, Norway
Fantastic idea well done

Has to be effective! Easy to say even without testing. Hovering specs must be good also
Brilliant Niklaus 👌 need to try them here in Scotland for sea trout, they remind me of the silver Abu zeppo lure
Very cool man! Might be fun to use for big browns after dark as well!
nice and simple!
Always innovative!!! Very very cool idea!
Great tie and great fly. Reminds me of the old school silver spoons used for jigging walleye and striped bass. Have to give this a try on my vise. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Simple and effective! Smart fly
Really cool fly! A must try for both seatrout and perch 👍🏻. Would probabley work for pike with a XL tail to 😊
Härligt och tack Niklaus 👍🏻🎣
Häftigt🤩😍. Såg ut som mycket lim på insidan, det förstör inte gången?
that looks super good. As a person who does spin fishing for sea trout also, this fly looks very similar to spin baits. Have to try them
Riktigt coolt, ännu ett steg av Herr Bauer 👍💪👌 Man tackar återigen för inspiration 🤗🙏

great looking fly!! would that be a good fly to use for trout fishing in the smaller size?
Nice "Tie"😅 I have tied Spoon Flies, but I like how you used the different resins. I have only used Loon Flow on the ones that I have tied. I would love to win some of these🤞
🙌
Think these might be really effective in my local waters.
I‘ll give this one a Shot. Great idea and a easy tie/glue 😂.
Hello Daníel, have you tried using the " fly-skinz" or the " frantic tails" on any of your flies???
Please set camera closer the fly when u tye

Same thing as the spoon fly
Yep as I say in the video it’s a variation of a spoon fly.
