WELL DONE! Thank you. My home is Traditional Mediteranean/Beach House blend (in Coastal SoCAL) & my favorite candles are Cire Trudon, Diptyque, Benevolence LA and Sand & Fog... BUT, I get to PLAY helping my daughter furnish her modern farmhouse in KY on a horse ranch we own. I LOVE that you mentioned Cowboy Cush because I was JUST about to send it to her!
TRY Benevolence LA!! They're hand poured in LA & proceeds go to stop human trafficking. They SMELL AMAZING & have excellent hot AND cold throw. Oh, & many are matte black with black wax!
Great timing for UA-cam to recommend this video! I have a L'Or de Seraphine on the way right now and I think the vessel is what finally got me to pull the trigger. 😆 The large size will make such a nice storage container and decor piece when the candle is finished.

My fav home decor style is minimalist to be honest (because this is how I want to live my life - simple, with no clutter - I am on that minimalist journey so it remains to be seen what I end up with), but my home currently is what I call, 'California organic midcentury modern', with a little bohemian thrown in. Your candle suggestions are spot on. I said "Lafco" at the same time you did. I just made a purchase of Lafco candles, not only for the scent, but for the color of the vessel. Good luck with the move - I'm very excited for you. I moved from NY to CA (Berkeley area) end of 90's and I never looked back.
I love industrial/ steampunk/world travel style home design. I think shabby chic/pretty/girly is beautiful as well but I cannot see this in my home. Bohemian is also so fun and interesting. It’s like a novel or song. There is a unique story there. The studies from 8:14 especially 8:21 and 8:54 are some of my favorites. Rustic can be beautiful too when done a particular way.

After having seen all of your videos, I was wondering if you have any recommendations for a sugary sweet candle? My friend loves pumpkin sugar candles and I wanted to get her a luxury candle, possibly from Harlem Candle Co, Le Labo, or Cire Trudon. I’m not very familiar with sweeter smelling candles and most of the Harlem Candle Company Candles that I’ve tried tend to be heavier (Langston, Ellington, Savoy). I’d appreciate any recommendations in general.

I honestly think about it often, but my anxiety of always resorts to it being taken the wrong way of showing a "mass" collection.
