Reid moved back to BC in Canada in the mid 70's. When i last spoke with him he had managed to get a reunion meeting with James & Tony (Tony was drumming with the Everly Brothers). Reid & James were back in contact at the time! I have original autographs on a notebook page from 1971. An old friend of mine got them in person from Folkestone, England after the gig. Reid was blown away when i sent him a scan. This page has pride of place in my May Blitz - 2nd of May CD cover! ;)
Holy shit... seriously... wow wow..... wow....this is is just.... wow... thank you so much for this i actually typed each of those wows at different moments, this is an accurate transcript of my mind being blown to fragments by this
Im so glad to had of found May Blitz, they are amazing, im also happy to find that people still listen to this awesome band and all proto metal bands of the 70s, keep rocking dudes!
“Contemporaries to Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, wchich did not achieve manistream success, but played equally intense music existed, examples include May Blitz, Night Sun, Gift and Icecross. “ - a sentence that should be included to every article discussing early heavy metal.
very very good.....................................................................................................................................................................................
Back in the 1980s I bought this album (on spiral Vertigo) at a jumble sale for 10p. Not surprisingly I sold it a few years later for maybe £20, but what's it worth now??
Radonjic Dragan says > I had this LP the first edition of *Vertigo* . And then one of my friends asked me to change for this LP , and then I agreed to exchange ?
Tony Newman s'est également produit avec : David Bowie - David Live - 1974 Jeff Beck - Beckology - 1991 Kevin Ayers - Too Old To Die Young - 1998 Yes We have No Mananas - 1976

Wonder if the title & lyrics were inspired by Steppenwolf...
Sounds like a song you can actually mosh to.
